3 Days to Launch: What’s Coming in One Last Hand’s Full Release?

ONLY 3 DAYS UNTIL THE TABLE OPENS

Welcome back, chip burners.

Only three days remain until One Last Hand launches on Steam!

The demo let you bid against your friends, steal the cards they needed, build suspiciously perfect hands, bend the rules with Relics and turn poker combinations into attacks.

That was the polite version.

The full release brings more Tricks, more Power-ups, two new Egos, a new game mode, adjustable match settings, Steam Achievements and a long list of balance changes designed to create even more reasons to yell at the table.

We want to thank everyone who played the demo, invited their friends, sent us feedback and reported the many creative ways they managed to break the game.

Now it is time to show you what is waiting in the full release.

Bring your friends. You probably won’t be leaving with them.

EIGHT NEW TRICKS. ZERO NEW RULES

The full release adds eight new Tricks to the table:

  • Face Hunter

  • Duplicator

  • Ace Maker

  • Trinity

  • Pick Pocket

  • Red Shifter

  • Dark Shifter

  • Straight Booster

Tricks are your opportunity to interfere with the hand you were supposed to play.

Use them to reshape your cards, chase stronger combinations and ruin the plan your friend was already celebrating.

The new additions expand the number of ways you can manipulate your hand and build around specific cards, suits and poker combinations.

Some will help rescue a terrible hand.

Some will turn a good hand into something unfair.

Some will make everyone at the table immediately decide that you are the problem.

Which is usually how you know the Trick worked.

MEET THE CLONER

A new Power-up is joining the full release: Cloner.

Cloner enters the game as a Tier 2 Power-up, adding another tool for players who enjoy turning one useful opportunity into a much bigger problem for everybody else.

Because apparently having one of something was not unfair enough.

Cloner arrives alongside several Power-up tier adjustments. These changes should create more meaningful choices and new combinations as matches progress.

Use it wisely.

Or use it entirely to annoy one specific friend. We are not here to judge.

TWO NEW EGOS ENTER THE CHAOS

The full release introduces two new characters to the One Last Hand roster.

They have arrived from different corners of history.

They have very different ideas about style.

They share the same terrible decision: asking for one last hand.

JOSE

JACK

Jose and Jack join the existing collection of outlaws, nobles, mystics, killers, gamblers and walking disasters gathered around the One Last Hand table.

Pick your Ego. Try to keep it.

LAST HAND STANDING

A new game mode joins the full release: Last Hand Standing.

This mode is not about finishing with the highest score.

It is about surviving longer than everyone else.

Players are eliminated as the match continues, until only one Ego remains at the table.

Every secret bid matters. Every chip matters. Every suspiciously convenient Trick matters.

A player who looks harmless during one round may become the biggest threat in the next. An early lead can disappear with one bad hand, while a desperate comeback can completely destroy the plans of everyone who thought the match was already over.

Protect your resources.

Watch your rivals.

And remember that temporary alliances last exactly until your friend draws the card you need.

There can only be one last hand.

Make sure it is yours.
YOUR TABLE. YOUR RULES

The full release gives lobby hosts more control over how each match is played.

You will be able to adjust:

  • The length of the game

  • The amount of chips distributed, from 10 to 50

Want a quick match before someone has time to develop a strategy?

Keep it short.

Want a longer battle where grudges have enough time to develop into full-scale revenge campaigns?

You can do that too.

Chip distribution can also be adjusted to change the economy of the match. Fewer chips make every secret bid more dangerous, while a larger chip amount creates more room for aggressive plays, expensive mistakes and completely unnecessary bidding wars.

Set the rules.

Invite your friends.

Then blame the host when everything goes wrong.

TWENTY WAYS TO PROVE YOUR EGO

The full release integrates 20 Steam Achievements.

Some will be unlocked naturally as you play.

Others will ask you to experiment with different Tricks, Power-ups, Relics, characters and match strategies.

And some may require the kind of perfectly timed betrayal that your friends will continue mentioning several weeks later.

Win matches.

Build impossible hands.

Discover new combinations.

Create moments that definitely happened because of skill and not because the dice saved you.

How many Achievements will you unlock before your friends stop inviting you?

THE RULES BEND. THE BALANCE FIGHTS BACK

The full release also includes extensive balance changes across Tricks, Power-ups and Relics.

The goal is not to make the game fair.

That would ruin everything.

The goal is to create more useful choices, reduce options that were too dominant or too situational and give more builds a chance to create their own version of unfair.

RELIC AND TRICK CHANGES

  • RELIC AND TRICK CHANGES

    • Red Fusion II and Dark Fusion II have been moved from Tier 3 to Tier 2 and renamed Red Fusion and Dark Fusion.

    • The activation range of Skin Walker has been expanded from 2–7 to 2–10.

    • The Ace bonus has been increased from x5 to x6.

    • Second Life has been moved from Tier 2 to Tier 1.

    • Dealer Bonus has been moved from Tier 2 to Tier 1.

    • Dealer Bonus now grants 3 chips from the bank during every battle round.

    • Glass Cannon has been moved from Tier 2 to Tier 1.

    • Vitality Charm has been moved from Tier 2 to Tier 1.

    • Trips Mult has been removed.

    • The bonus provided by Bucket has been increased to +500.

    • The x2 score bonuses have been removed from suits.

    • Chameleon has received a mechanical rework.

    • Red Shifter and Dark Shifter have been added as separate Tier 1 Tricks.

These changes reorganize how several tools appear during a match and should make it easier to build around different strategies without relying on the same combinations every time.

Your favorite setup may have changed.

Your friend’s favorite setup may have disappeared.

Please direct all accusations of cheating toward the person currently winning.

POWER-UP CHANGES

Power-ups have also been adjusted:

  • Morpher has been moved to Tier 2.

  • Cloner has been added as a new Tier 2 Power-up.

  • Vitality has been moved from Tier 2 to Tier 1.

These tier adjustments change when each Power-up can appear and open new possibilities at different stages of a match.

The meta has changed.

Your excuses may need an update too.

A CLEANER TABLE FOR DIRTIER PLAYS

The full release includes multiple UI and UX optimizations designed to make matches easier to understand and smoother to navigate.

Menus, interactions and visual feedback have been refined so that players can spend less time fighting the interface and more time fighting each other.

We have also fixed numerous bugs reported during the demo and made additional stability improvements across the game.

Thank you to everyone who sent reports, described connection issues and discovered situations that no reasonable player should ever have been able to create.

We read your feedback.

We fixed the table.

What you do to your friends on that table is your responsibility.
