Finally. The new version is here!
I'm almost done with all the new systems and features, along with the biggest aesthetic overhaul in TEKO's entire history.
To try out this version, you'll have to go through your Steam library:
Settings > Game versions & Betas > Private versions (Check Code).
tekobeta1234
Select the beta version, the game will update, and you'll be ready to play the new version.
There will be tentative changes, things that aren't 100% finished yet, but overall it's already working pretty well. There might be crashes, bugs, exploits... so please, report all issues on Discord! I enter every day and check all the reports.
I recommend backing up your data at C:/Users/-/AppData/Local/TEKO.
I need testers. This version is focused on QoL and aesthetics, and making sure everything runs smoothly without bugs. There are so many changes! I've been working on this update for over 2 months. Later I'll make a detailed report with every change made, but for now I'll leave you with the surprise until you hop in.
The plan is that, after finishing 9.0, I can resume my normal activity by making a version 10.0 with tons of new content. So I hope everything goes well.
The only way to go back from the beta to the original version is by deleting your cloud data and Memories history, so I really don't recommend going backward (anyway, this new 9.0 beta version is much better than the live 8.0, so there's no point in going back), but I'm letting you know just in case someone wants to play both versions at the same time: due to the structural change between the two, it's hard to keep the data. If you go back from 9.0 to 8.0 without deleting your Memories, there will be a crash because the old version can't read the new strings.
