It's been a while since the previous demo. There's a lot to catch up on: a rebuilt tutorial, Endless Run, a book of your discoveries, fresh artwork, and a long round of fixes to make your builds easier to follow.
The tutorial has been rebuilt into 14 modules, taking you from your first Spin and Symbol combinations through Items, Followers, Quests, Threat, Skills, and Reincarnation. Each module has its own starting setup, so you can revisit a mechanic without restarting the whole tutorial.
The tutorial book now includes illustrated explanations, module previews, and completion markers. Guided steps and contextual hints have also been revised, including help when you first encounter a stage with special conditions. Even if you've played before, we recommend starting here.
Build your Machine across a continuing sequence of stages. Choose your next encounter from the offered options and adapt to its goals and Statuses. Different starting locations bring different starting Symbols, giving your run an initial direction to build on—or change. Endless is still being balanced. We'd especially like to hear when a run starts to feel too easy, too punishing, or repetitive.
The Isekaipendium is now available from the main menu. Browse your discovered Symbols, Items, Followers, and encounters, and uncover entries for Waifus and the ways you've died. Character artwork, locked-entry hints, and illustrated tombstones give you more to discover between runs.
Refreshed Follower portraits and Item artwork. Follower cards have clearer contrast and a subtle outline, with further improvements to card sizes, spacing, and tooltips.
Expanded and revised Symbol and Status content, with additional artwork and interaction fixes.
Updated profile and Reincarnation screens, including attribute displays and Item/Follower selection panels with scrolling.
Clearer progress displays, tooltips, selection screens, and menu labels.
Reworked slime and brewery stages in Volume I: combine a score target with a destruction objective, supported by updated Quests and clearer progress displays.
Revised Volume I and Rise of the Goblin King writing, including Full and Short narration. Five more Goblin King events now have Short versions.
Corrected Symbol rarity rolls and level-up card rarity selection, plus Symbol shuffling around locked positions.
Fixed cases where transformations, temporary Symbols, and multipliers produced incorrect results, along with lingering effects after a Status was removed.
Improved the order and timing of chained effects, destruction rewards, and payouts so you can follow what happened on the Board. Resource counters and progress bars now follow their reward animations more consistently.
Fixed Quest progress updates after manual actions and the jackpot button after rerolls.
Fixed save/load handling around completed stages so returning to a run preserves the result and avoids repeating completion rewards.
The demo offers a portion of the game while development continues. Some content and features are unavailable, balance is still changing, and some story outcomes do not yet apply their intended gameplay effects. Please report broken text, missing characters, bugs, or crashes if you encounter them. After playing the demo, tell us whether the tutorial prepared you to play without help, how Endless felt, and where you became confused or wanted to stop. Leave a comment or join us on Discord. For a bug report, include what you were doing, the mode or stage, and your language; a screenshot helps when the issue is visual. Thanks for returning or for joining us for the first time. May your next reincarnation be slightly less embarrassing.
