LnLMTR 1.5.0 - One-Click Network Reports

LnLMTR · published 10 Sep 2026, 04:45 UTC · build 25222693

All newsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

Getting a useful network report to your support team used to mean opening LnLMTR, typing in an address, waiting, and remembering to copy the results. Now it can be a single click on a link.

One-Click Test Links

LnLMTR now handles lnlmtr:// links. A support page, a Discord message, or a help article can hand you a link that opens LnLMTR and offers to run the exact test they need:

lnlmtr://mtr/1.1.1.1?duration=60

Click it, confirm, and LnLMTR does the rest. No typing an IP address, no knowing what an MTR is.

For your safety, a linked test always shows a confirmation first you'll see exactly which address is about to be tested, and nothing starts until you click. A link can never quietly start a test or touch your clipboard on its own.

Timed Tests That Finish Themselves

A link can specify how long to measure for. When the time is up, LnLMTR stops the test, copies the full report to your clipboard, and tells you it's ready, so all you have to do is paste it where support asked.

Command Line Support

LnLMTR can now be started with a target directly:

LnLMTR.exe --target example.com --duration 60

Other Changes

  • Opening a second test link while LnLMTR is already running now opens a new tab instead of a second window

  • Version numbering brought back in line this release is 1.5.0

For Server Operators and Support Teams

If you run a game server, an ISP helpdesk, or any service where you ask people for network diagnostics, you can now put a working link on your site:

lnlmtr://mtr/YOUR.SERVER.IP.HERE?duration=60

Supported Query Strings

Explanation

duration
