One Year in Toská

NODE turns one on 28 August.

To celebrate, the game is 60% off for the two weeks leading up to its anniversary, with the sale ending on 28 August itself.

Two of us built NODE over seven years of evenings and weekends around our day jobs. A year after release, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has been part of that journey.

  • The people who bought NODE in its first weeks, with nothing to go on but a trailer and a strange-sounding idea. You took a chance on us before we had much to show for it.
  • The people who wrote the long reviews, especially the critical ones. A surprising number of those reviews turned directly into fixes. The game is better and more finished because you took the time to explain where it lost you.
  • Everyone in the Discord and Steam discussions who kept asking for a way to play without the timeline. That's Platformer Mode, which shipped with Update 1.1. It exists because you asked for it, not because we had planned it.
  • The creators and streamers who put NODE on camera and let strangers watch someone fail a plan seven times before finally getting it right. That's a difficult thing to make watchable, and you did it.
  • The people who told a friend. Word of mouth is still one of the biggest ways players find NODE.
  • Everyone who posted a review. Every single one helps more than you might think.

If you haven't been in Toská yet

NODE is a 2.5D puzzle-platformer set in an abandoned Soviet plant in Siberia that was put back on the map by a radiation surge in 2034.

In Timeline Mode, you don't directly control NODE. Instead, you lay out jumps, switches, and other commands on a timeline, then run your plan and discover whether it was actually as good as you thought.

If that's not your thing, Platformer Mode gives you direct control while keeping the same world and story.

The 60% discount runs until 28 August, the day NODE turns one.

Thank you for being here for the first year. We couldn't have made it this far without you.
