Command Palette Refinements

Spent this cycle fine-tuning the Command Palette to ensure it is as fast and intuitive as possible.

  • Search History UI Fixes: Resolved issues with how search history was displayed, giving "Recent Searches" its own distinct identity. This prevents visual clutter and ensures a cleaner transition when typing queries.

  • Optimized Resource Usage: The Command Palette now intelligently unmounts when closed. By preventing hidden state from mounting in the background, reduced unnecessary resource overhead, making the app feel snappier.

  • Improved Filtering Logic: Fixed bugs related to how search history is filtered during active queries, ensuring your view remains focused on what you are actually looking for.

Stability & Reliability

Addressed critical edge cases to ensure a smooth user experience.

  • PDF Preview Stability: Resolved an issue where exiting a PDF preview could cause the application to crash. Navigation between files is now seamless and reliable.

  • Core Windows Integration: Updated our core Win32 API signatures for more robust error handling, increasing overall application stability on Windows.

  • Dependency Optimization: A comprehensive update to core dependencies to ensure the latest security patches and performance improvements are integrated.
