Hi bartenders!

It has already been a week since the release of Something to Drink?, and what an incredible time it has been! I’ve received a massive amount of comments, reviews, and feedback from all of you, and I want to say a huge thank you. It’s deeply satisfying to see so many of you finding genuine joy in my game!

Bug Fixes & Patch Highlights

You’ve sent in a ton of bug reports over the last seven days, and I hope I’ve proven my commitment by fixing a vast majority of them. Here is a quick summary of the most important fixes and improvements made during this first week:

  • Translations: Fixed a huge amount of localization and translation errors across various languages.

  • Save Data: Resolved multiple issues related to saving player choices and progress.

  • Achievements: Fixed bugs that were preventing certain achievements from unlocking properly.

  • Resolution Support: Fixed display issues on non-standard screen resolutions and aspect ratios.

  • Softlocks: Removed various progression blocks (for example, customers ordering drinks that hadn't been unlocked yet).

  • Physics / Controls: Added an option to adjust item inertia for better handling.

  • Quality of Life: Made numerous improvements to controls and overall gameplay comfort (including menu card browsing, handing orders to NPCs, and dialogue skipping).

If you’ve encountered a bug that hasn't been fixed yet, I sincerely apologize - I'm on it!

This past week has been utterly exhausting. Because of that, future updates might take a little longer to roll out as I take some much-needed time to rest and recharge. That said, please feel free to keep sending bug reports, feedback, or thoughts to: [email protected]

What's Next?

  • Endless Mode: I know this is the feature everyone is waiting for! While I can't promise an exact release date just yet, I promise you I will fight for it. I’ll keep you posted on the development progress.

  • New Platforms: I am aiming to bring the game to other platforms in the future, though this will also take some time. A quick reminder that the game fully supports controllers, which I highly recommend trying out if you like playing far away from the keyboard!

Thank you all once again for the amazing support. Keep playing STD, and Have fun, okay?

- Adam
