The first Devlog for Bodycam's next major update is now available.

This marks the beginning of a four-part series where we'll take you behind the scenes of the biggest update we've ever built for Bodycam.

🎥 Watch Devlog [1/4]

In this first episode, we dive into several of the update's biggest additions, including:

  • A complete overhaul of our first-person animation system.

  • A new stress-based reload system with multiple animation variations.

  • Procedural weapon positioning to make every reload feel unique.

  • Magazine checks, weapon inspections, and countless new immersion details.

  • The new Loadout & Weapon Customization system with hundreds of attachments.

  • Our in-game tablet, replacing traditional menus while keeping you immersed in the world.

  • The introduction of tactical gadgets, including FPV drones and RC cars.

More Devlogs Coming Soon

This is only the beginning.

Over the coming weeks we'll also release:

  • Devlog #2: Sound Design

  • Devlog #3: Trenches

  • Devlog #4: Player-Driven Improvements

Each episode focuses on a different part of the update and explains both what has changed and why we made those decisions.

Thank you, as always, for your incredible support. We hope you enjoy the first Devlog, and we can't wait to hear what you think.

See you on the battlefield.
