Multiplayer performance
- Server frame rate no longer drops when several players dig at once. Terrain collision updates were stalling the server on every dig; in our test with four players digging continuously the server now holds full speed.
Skidsteer
- Thin patches of dirt left on roads and hard ground can now be scraped off. The bucket cuts slightly below its cutting edge, and digging registers reliably where dirt meets a road surface.
- Dirt chunks only come out while the bucket is actually moving through dirt. A parked bucket resting against the ground no longer keeps producing chunks.
- Each bite fills the bucket with a full row of chunks again instead of a single chunk.
- Chunks no longer spawn inside the bucket floor, which was bouncing the bucket up as they appeared.
Name tags
- Player name tags now show correctly while driving. They were drifting off into the sky whenever a player got into a vehicle.
- Tags sit at a sensible height above each vehicle and the tag text is readable from every angle: it always turns to face you and no longer appears mirrored from behind.
- Tags stay level when a vehicle rocks or tilts instead of leaning with it and snapping back.
Known issues
- Entering a vehicle while holding the shovel or wheelbarrow can launch the vehicle. Drop the tool before getting in for now.
- The flatbed trailer's landing legs can only be operated while it is hitched to a truck.
