Paul is back to tell you about what’s coming to PAYDAY 3 in August and September!
This month, we’ll be releasing our Engine Upgrade, moving the game to Unreal Engine 5 which will allow us to begin paving the road to improving the game in new ways, as well as a rework of Cook Off!
September will be the 3rd Anniversary of PAYDAY 3’s release, and to celebrate, we’ll be releasing a jam-packed update including a Campaign Mode featuring a completely rewritten storyline, Weapon Perks, a Shooting Range, Enemy Improvements, a new Paid Crimebond Collection with an old fan favorite weapon to unlock, and more!
But we’d like to highlight the most significant change coming in the September Update:
That’s right, all Heists in PAYDAY 3 will be available to all players from the September Update!
We want to unify the playerbase and give everyone the same ability to play past and future Heists together without having to worry about ownership. A perfect opportunity to play through the new Campaign Mode (and the updated Tutorial we previously released in Update 3.6) from start to finish!
In light of this change to heist content in PAYDAY 3, we will be delisting all paid heist DLCs from all storefronts on August 25 2026.
Existing owners of these DLCs will not lose access to any content after this date.

The Weapon Pack DLCs, Tailor Pack DLCs and Character Pack DLCs are unaffected by these changes and will remain available for purchase.
If you own any paid heists DLCs prior to them being delisted, either as an individual DLC or as part of a bundle, you’ll have items waiting for you after the release of the September Update.
If you own any heist DLC, you’ll receive the S40 "Partisan" Pistol Variant. (Moddable!)
For each individual heist DLC you own, you’ll receive a Unique Preset Mask themed around that particular heist.
If you own all seven heist DLCs, you’ll also receive the "Flame Keeper" Preset Mask!
