In addition to the standard Windows OCR engine, Glint Translator now supports the fully built-in, offline PaddleOCR engine! Experience incredible text recognition accuracy—especially in games with complex backgrounds, stylized fonts, and manga/comics.
* ⚙️ Freely Switch Between Dual OCR Engines
From the Settings menu, you can switch between Windows OCR (ultra-fast) and the new PaddleOCR (AI-powered, highly accurate) with a single click.
* ⚡ Special Optimizations for Area Translation
Millisecond response times: selected areas are instantly cropped and scanned. Adaptive TTL instantly clears translations when text disappears, and Auto Font Size is now enabled by default.
* 🌐 Smart Asian Language Filter
To solve "hallucination" issues in Japanese, Chinese, or Korean, we introduced a smart filtering rule to clean up irrelevant AI outputs.
