Shujinkou @ Pomeranian University in Słupsk 🇵🇱

We are happy to share that we recently sponsored TENSAI 2026, the third edition of a knowledge competition focused on Japanese language and culture at Pomeranian University in Słupsk in Poland. According to the university's event post, the competition brought together local residents, students, and guests from nearby cities nationally, with over 40 participants taking part in it.

As part of that support, free copies of Shujinkou were provided among the event's prizes. The university's recap (read it here) notes that winners received fifteen main prizes, including Japanese-learning materials, Japanese-themed crafts, vouchers, books, Shujinkou, and other prizes tied to Japanese language, history, and culture. For our team and studio, this was a great initial opportunity to help push Japanese language and cultural interest forward in Poland 🇵🇱, even in a relatively small way. We will continue to reiterate what makes Shujinkou special in both the video game and education industries: its ability to exist and be enjoyed not only as a full-fledged JRPG (Japanese role-playing game), but also as a high-quality work with real educational value.

Following our recent academic momentum with the Shujinkou Lecture @ Waseda University, it is exciting to see Shujinkou continue appearing in spaces connected to language, culture, and learning. Special thanks to Vlad Micinski for the work he put into helping make TENSAI take place for the third time!

We are grateful to have had Shujinkou included in an event like TENSAI 2026, and we hope to keep working hard to create more and more opportunities like this as this young franchise continues to grow.

The university's official event post is available here.

Best,

Team @ Rice Games
