Hello everyone, this is Sudden Attack Zero Point. We have been continuously preparing R&D for DirectX 12 implementation to improve frame performance, as requested by many users.
To showcase the results, we are releasing the DirectX 12 Beta branch on Steam starting 9/22 (Tue) UTC 05:00.
By applying DirectX 12, you can experience improved frame performance compared to the existing version.
Additionally, the shadow rendering on maps has been improved, making shadow shapes and boundaries appear much smoother than in the previous version.
This is the first step towards creating a more comfortable and stable play environment. We appreciate your continued interest and use. DirectX 12 Beta is still in the development stage, so please understand that some bugs or unexpected issues may occur during gameplay.
Please report any issues you find, and we will promptly check and improve them.
The DirectX 12 Beta branch is identical to the Live version in all features except graphics.
You can continue playing in the same match pool as the Live version, and all data, including account progress, owned items, and characters, will be preserved.
You can access all content you used in the Live version, including play rewards, ongoing events, and the Black Market, identically in the DirectX 12 Beta branch.
The DirectX 12 Beta version can be easily switched by simply selecting the Steam branch, allowing you to freely switch between the Live version and the Beta version to play.
In your Library, right-click [Sudden Attack Zero Point], then click “Properties”.
From the right-hand menu, click 'Game Versions & Betas' and select the [directx12_beta] Game Version.
If the game update is completed automatically and applied successfully, you can see that the game name in the Library list has changed to “Sudden Attack Zero Point [directx12_beta]”. Alternatively, you can also check the version next to the Play button.
If you wish to restore to the original version, you can transition back to “Default Public Version” by following the steps above.
We have prepared a survey to hear your valuable feedback and create a better game, as you participated in the DirectX 12 Beta. (Participating in the survey takes approximately 5 minutes.) The feedback you send will be carefully checked and reviewed by the responsible team, and will be used as valuable reference material to make Sudden Attack Zero Point an even more complete game in the future.
