Dear players,

This update applies to the Dao Without End Demo. It improves loot presentation, inventory responsiveness, and bulk actions, while addressing issues identified during playtesting.

Feature Improvements

• Added loot animations. When an enemy is defeated, item icons appear, briefly bounce, and fly toward your character. Items of higher Quality display a corresponding glow.

• Improved the cumulative loot list. Identical items of the same Quality are grouped together, with the most recently collected items moved to the top. The list retains up to 100 entries. Removing older entries does not affect the items you have received.

• Loot history is now retained between automatic battle restarts and while temporarily viewing other screens. It is cleared when you manually end combat, start a new battle, or return to the map from the results screen. Your scroll position is preserved when browsing older entries.

• Added a separate combat effects setting. Skill and hit effects can be disabled while retaining damage numbers and normal battle resolution. Combat effects and loot animations can be toggled independently, and both checkboxes have been enlarged.

• Added a “Stats/Loot” label beside the magnifying glass on the battle screen, making combat statistics and loot records easier to find.

• Battle drops, chest rewards, and forged equipment are now selected by default as sources for automatic equipment processing. Existing preferences are preserved. The main switch must still be enabled manually, and only newly acquired equipment from the selected sources is processed.

• Standardized the game window title to “无尽仙路” and updated the game window, Windows taskbar, and executable icons.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where enemy artwork could incorrectly appear as snakes during continuous automated combat.

• Fixed delayed item count updates after collecting or selling crafted items. Also fixed upgraded pills losing their Rank when collected and incorrect backpack capacity checks during collection.

• Fixed an incorrect message stating that unprocessed crafted items had been retained after all items had already been collected or sold.

• Fixed failed transactions being included in Spirit Stone income and spending statistics.

• Fixed loot quantities appearing in the list before their animations finished. With loot animations enabled, quantities now update when the icons reach your character. With animations disabled, quantities appear immediately. Drops from the final wave remain visible on the results screen and after automatic battle restarts.

• Fixed entire area attack animations replaying when attacks triggered on-kill passives or on-death effects, causing excessive delays.

Performance and Stability

• Reduced stuttering when processing large amounts of loot, automatically selling equipment, dismantling items in bulk, and collecting or selling all crafted items.

• Improved responsiveness when opening, sorting, clearing searches, and scrolling through the backpack and warehouse. Shop lists also refresh more quickly after transactions.

• Optimized loot list and combat log updates during intensive battles, prioritizing loot icons currently visible on screen.

• Reduced unnecessary updates for closed or hidden inventory panels. Reopened panels display the latest items and Spirit Stone balance. Failed attempts to open chests also trigger fewer updates to unrelated screens.

• Improved resource cleanup when repeatedly opening interfaces or creating combat units, along with background music cleanup when exiting the game normally.

Thank you for playing the demo and sharing your feedback. We will continue working to improve your experience in Dao Without End.
