Steam China Showcase 2026 is now live, and Thirsty Snail is part of the event!
If this is your first time meeting us, Thirsty Snail is a free-to-play desktop pet collection game. Snails move onto your desktop, and every keystroke brings rain to keep them hydrated and active. Interacting with them also helps you unlock new additions to your collection.
Simply put:
You type. It rains.
More and more strange snails move into your computer.
This update introduces 12 new snails inspired by Chinese culture and internet humor. All of them are now available in-game and ready to make themselves at home on your desktop.
Among the new arrivals are a few faces you may already recognize:
● Guan Yu
● Lu Bu
● Sun Wukong
● Zhu Bajie
They are joined by even more Common and Uncommon newcomers, all waiting to be discovered.
