The gates are open, the crowds are roaring, and your journey as a lanista can finally begin.

Ludus Magnatus: Gladiator Manager Simulator is now available in Early Access on Steam!

The Beginning of Early Access

Reaching Early Access is a huge milestone, but it is not the end of development.

During Early Access, I will continue improving balance, performance, usability, multiplayer stability, and the overall depth of the game. Player feedback will be extremely valuable in deciding where Ludus Magnatus goes from here.

Please share your experiences, suggestions, balance feedback, and bug reports through the Steam Discussions. I will be reading everything closely.

Furthermore, I would also like to know if there's a demand for more translations as there's a couple of languages I am considering to add.
For now these are listed below, but I am not sure if there's a big enough demand for these to justify it, so kindly let me know!

  • Chinese (Traditional)

  • Serbian

  • Croatian

  • Greek

  • Czech

  • Hungarian

Thank You

At last I just want to say thank you to everyone who followed the development, helped me test, played the demo, shared feedback, reported bugs, created videos, joined discussions, and added the game to their wishlist.

Your support made this release possible, and I am incredibly excited to finally place the game in your hands.

Today, I have another update packed with exciting additions for you to enjoy! :) Before we get to the patch notes, I want to clear up something important. With version 0.96 now out, you might understandably think the game is approaching a full 1.0 release. To be completely transparent, I didn’t plan the version numbering as carefully as I should have. Even if we reach “1.0” i…Major update3 Sep 2026Patch 0.95 is out now!Salvēte dear Roman Citizens! I know this update has taken a little longer than expected, but the new World View required me to rework quite a few of the game’s underlying systems. The positive side of this is that the way Gladiators, Lanistas and Doctores are handled is now much more modular, which also opens the door for potential future systems such as transfers between Ludi and much more. I…
