Update 4.8 — Halloween, 1v1, Trick Show and Beach Soccer

4.8 is the biggest Global Football update yet: Halloween, four new modes and loads of big-match detail.
Halloween (until November 2)
- Decorated stadium, court, dirt pitch and beach: glowing pumpkins, lanterns, cobwebs on the goals, tombstones, bats and a full moon.
- Night matches, a pumpkin ball and orange and purple fireworks on every goal.
- Halloween-themed menu and locker room.
- Limited items: the Pumpkins goal effect and the Pumpkin, Bat and Ghost boots. Only until Nov 2.
New modes
- X1: 1v1 and 2v2 on the court, quick matches, with its own ranked queue.
- Trick Show: 5v5 on the pitch with special skills (elastico, rainbow flick, nutmeg, step-over), bicycle kicks, volleys and diving headers. Online or against bots.
- Beach Soccer: sunset on the beach, the ball bounces more and the sand slows the pass. Online or against bots.
- Skills Arena: slalom, target shooting and passing, with a weekly leaderboard.
- Every server now keeps a public room with fouls (fouls from behind, points and penalties) in the rotation.
Shop
- Goal effects and kick trails everyone sees in the match.
- Accessories: captain's armband, wristbands, headband, sock tape and sock height.
- Tattoos and beards.
- Retro shirts in the team kit editor.
Big-match feel
- VERSUS screen before kick-off and the man of the match on the podium at the end.
- Animated LED boards with the scorer's name, a bench with the coach, a referee on the pitch and a crowd mosaic.
- Flares and confetti, sunset during the match and kits getting dirty and wet.
- Player reactions and duo celebrations (scorer and assister).
- 3D locker room in the menu and a radio with new music.
More
- New cameras (optional): TV broadcast and over the shoulder.
- Quick chat wheel ("Pass!", "Nice!"), translated into each player's language.
- Fair play: leaving ranked matches costs points and a queue cooldown.
- Add friends from the final screen, match history on your profile and live spectating in every mode.
- Accessibility: colorblind mode, larger text and subtitles.
- 7 languages: Russian, Polish, Turkish and German are here.
- Low-end PC mode in the settings.
- Career: change the difficulty any time and delete a career from inside it.
