First of all, thank you sincerely for playing this game, flaws and all.
I want to be honest with you about where things stand.
For a long stretch of development, I was essentially working on this game alone. The designer who originally created the concept stepped away partway through, and the art and illustrations we needed kept getting pushed back again and again. I kept going by myself, writing the code, handling everything else, and filling the gaps as best I could, all while working on other projects at the same time. There were many moments when it honestly felt hopeless.
Recently, the designer came back, saying that this is still their game and they want to see it through. I'm glad to have them back, but I won't pretend the road here has been easy, or that the road ahead will be.
I can't promise how long it will take. There's still a lot missing, and there are very few of us to test and polish things. But I can promise this: I will not give up on this game. I love making games, and I want to take full responsibility for the one I've made. No matter how slow the progress is, I will keep working on it until it becomes the game it's meant to be.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for playing and caring about this game, even in its current state. Your feedback will continue to shape it. The game will remain free, and it will keep getting better.
Thank you.
