Hi, dear Lizard!
If you have access to this playtest, you're one of the players interested in testing Splizards. We're very happy to have you here!
These are some of the first external playtests we're running, so we intentionally won't give you too many hints or details about the game just yet. We want you to explore, experiment, and discover things for yourself!
IMPORTANT: No Save System Yet
The save system is a major part of the game that we're still actively working on. In the current version, your progress is not saved yet. This means that your world and all your items will be lost when you return to the main menu. Your settings will also reset when you close the game.
We understand that this can be frustrating, and implementing the save system is one of our priorities as we work towards our next milestones.
KNOWN BUG: Resolution Can Make the Game Appear Darker
There is currently a known issue where setting the game to a lower resolution than your monitor's native resolution can cause the game to appear much darker or partially black. Please double-check that your in-game resolution matches your screen resolution. Your specific resolution may not appear in the list yet. We're working on expanding the available resolution options and fixing this issue.
Want to Help Shape Splizards?
If you'd like to keep testing, share feedback, report bugs, or simply follow the development of Splizards, we'd love to have you in our Discord server! We're still building the server from the ground up, but we'd like to make it the main place where we can collect feedback and talk directly with our testers and community.
Of course, you're also welcome to leave your feedback directly in the comments of this announcement.
Thank you for helping us test Splizards.
Happy testing, Lizard!
