Greetings, Star Guardians.

This is PD Koo of <The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin>.

First, we would like to thank all Star Guardians who joined us for the Version 2.0 update.

At the same time, we are taking seriously the disappointment and concerns that many of you have felt following this update. In particular, we sincerely apologize to those who were left concerned and uncertain about the future direction of Origin after the new ‘Labyrinth’ content we had previously announced was removed from the update without further explanation.

In this Developer Notes, we would first like to address some aspects of Version 2.0 that we did not explain in sufficient detail. We will then walk through what is coming with the Version 2.1 update, followed by some of the plans we are currently preparing for the future. Finally, we have also prepared responses to the feedback and questions you have shared with us through our Discord AMA.

■ Regarding the Version 2.0 Update

✦ Regarding the Removal of ‘Labyrinth’

First, we would once again like to apologize for removing the previously announced new content, ‘Labyrinth’, from the Version 2.0 update without sufficient advance notice.

Development of ‘Labyrinth’ had, in fact, reached its final stage, including the completion of bug fixes. However, right up until the update, our development team continued to discuss whether, beyond matters of errors and bugs, the completed content offered the level of enjoyment and quality we believe is fitting for Origin.

‘Labyrinth’ was designed to focus less on combat and more on making choices based on a set of conditions presented each week. Our intention was to offer more casual Star Guardians a lighter weekly experience where they could obtain resources needed for progression through simple gameplay, without the fatigue of repetitive manual controls.

However, during our final review of the content, we concluded that over time, this structure was more likely to feel drawn out and monotonous rather than offer Star Guardians a fresh and engaging experience.

We also considered releasing the content in its current form and improving it over time, as well as potentially discontinuing it at a later date. Ultimately, however, our development team determined that rather than release new content in a state that could disappoint the Star Guardians who had been looking forward to it, it would be better to further improve its quality before bringing it to you in a way that could better meet your expectations.

That said, because these discussions and the decision-making process continued until shortly before the update, we were unable to provide Star Guardians with a sufficient explanation in advance. We recognize that this was a mistake on the part of our development team, and there is no excuse for not communicating with you sooner.

Going forward, if there are any changes to the direction of planned content or if content is removed from an update, we will make every effort to communicate the process and reasons behind those decisions as clearly and as early as possible.

✦ Regarding Delays Occurring Since the Version 2.0 Update

Following the Version 2.0 update, we identified an issue where certain actions may be delayed in response to player input for some players. We have been working to reproduce the issue and identify its cause.

At present, the delays appear to occur intermittently depending on the device, primarily on mobile platforms, and we are also conducting checks across all platforms.

As this issue directly affects gameplay, we are treating it as a top priority and working to implement a fix as soon as possible.

We will continue to provide updates on the progress of the fix through official notices.

We once again sincerely apologize for not being able to provide a stable gameplay environment.

✦ Regarding Time Attack

We would like to take this opportunity to once again sincerely apologize to all Star Guardians who dedicated significant time and effort to competing in the rankings for the [Transcendence] difficulty Boss Challenges for Monspeet and Guila, for not being able to provide a fair and stable environment.

As previously announced, [Transcendence] difficulty Time Attacks will continue to be available going forward. However, until the necessary system improvements addressing this issue have been completed, there will be no Titles or differences in rewards based on ranking placement, and all participants will receive the same rewards.

✦ Regarding the Availability of Transcendence Engraving & Refinement Materials

We have also received a great deal of feedback regarding the ‘Transcendence Engraving/Refinement’ systems introduced with Version 2.0, particularly around the limited availability of the resources needed for progression. We are well aware that with the substantial amount of Refinement EXP required for Transcendence Refinement, raising even a single piece of Engraved Equipment to Transcendence Level 15 is no easy task.

In particular, ‘Labyrinth’ was originally planned as a major source of Transcendence Refinement Stones and Transcendence Engraving Stones. As a result, its removal also left a significant gap in the supply of these materials. While we have made some of them available through events, we recognize that this has still not been enough.

To make up as much as possible for the resources that were originally intended to come from ‘Labyrinth’, we will provide additional opportunities to obtain these materials through events in the short term, while also working to establish stable and reliable sources for the longer term. We will address this again in the AMA responses below.

✦ Regarding the Amount of Content in Version 2.0

We are also aware that many Star Guardians have felt that Version 2.0 was somewhat lacking in terms of content.

As mentioned in a previous Developer Notes, the Version 1.8 and Version 2.0 updates focused on refining the early-game experience to help new Star Guardians ease into Origin more smoothly.

We understand that this focus may have left Version 2.0 feeling light on content for Star Guardians who have continued to enjoy Origin, and with the removal of ‘Labyrinth’ on top of that, the lack of fresh experiences may have felt even more pronounced.

With Version 2.1, which marks the second half of our Half-Anniversary updates, we are preparing to introduce new content aimed at Star Guardians who have been with us throughout their journey in Origin. We’ll share more about what we have planned in the sections that follow.

■ Version 2.1 Update Highlights

The second half of our Half-Anniversary updates will feature new events and minigames themed around the Vanya Village Ale Festival, along with a new Raid and new Knighthood content as permanent additions.

1. New Raid <Ferzen Mines>

The <Ferzen Mines> Raid coming with this update will mark the final part of our Dungeon content revamp. We have removed the unnecessarily lengthy minecart section from the existing Ferzen Mines and reworked some of its routes.

True to its mining theme, the Raid will have you board a mining machine provided upon entry to clear paths blocked by falling rocks and break apart minerals as you make your way through the mine. You will also be able to obtain various minerals, including Platinum Ore, as you progress through the Raid.

New Raid Equipment will also be added with <Ferzen Mines>. While previous Raids have offered equipment sets geared toward Attackers and Burst Specialists, respectively, Ferzen Mines will introduce a new equipment set designed for debuff-focused Supports.

We hope this equipment will be particularly effective for heroes who rely heavily on debuffs, such as Gowther with a Grimoire, who has recently become a popular choice as a Support.

2. Knighthood Headquarters and Knighthood Content Expansion

Through the Knighthood Boss Battle introduced in the previous update, we saw many Star Guardians setting new records by experimenting with different strategies and team compositions.

In particular, seeing Star Guardians achieve new high scores with strategies that made use of SR heroes and others that had previously seen less use made us once again grateful for the passion and dedication you continue to show in taking on new challenges.

In response to that enthusiasm, we are expanding Knighthood content to mark our Half-Anniversary.

With the Version 2.1 update, we will introduce the Knighthood Headquarters, a dedicated space where Knighthood members can gather. This separate area will be accessible only to members of the same Knighthood and can be entered through an NPC in town.

All Knighthood members can enter the Headquarters at the same time, while the Knighthood Captain or Vice Captain will be able to customize the appearance of designated areas.

Some Headquarters customization elements will also come with special functions, ranging from simple visual effects to the ability to obtain certain dishes each day or unlock the Practice Mode for Knighthood Boss Battles, a feature many Star Guardians have requested.

As this is our first introduction of the Knighthood decorating system, we will initially focus on relatively simple functions and visual options. We plan to gradually expand the system to offer a wider variety of convenience features and effects.

These decoration items will be obtainable through crafting using items donated by Knighthood members. Each week, members will be able to donate items such as Gold, Wood, Ingots, and Common Bone Powder and receive ‘Knighthood Coins’ in return.

Donated items will be stored in a separate Knighthood Storage, and the materials accumulated there can be used to craft various decoration items.

Through Knighthood Donations and decorating, we hope to encourage members to work together while also giving them an opportunity to put materials that have been sitting unused in storage to use by donating them in exchange for Knighthood Coins.

In addition, Version 2.1 will introduce the Story Replay feature that many Star Guardians have been requesting, as well as the [Transcendence] difficulty for the 「Corrupted」 Ancient Dragon and more.

3. Poll Draw

Next, we would like to discuss the Poll Draw, which we know many Star Guardians have been particularly curious about.

As previously announced, we will be reopening the Pick Up Draws for the three heroes selected through the Poll Draw Survey. We know many of you have been wondering what form these returning Pick Ups would take.

With Version 2.1, all three heroes selected through the Poll Draw Survey will be available at the same time, and you will be able to obtain all three during the Version 2.1 update period.

As the Poll Draw will be our first official rerun Draw in celebration of the Half-Anniversary, it will be offered in a slightly different form from our existing Pick Up Draws.

The existing Pick Up Draw mechanics will remain the same, including the SSR guarantee within 80 draws with a 50% chance for the Pick Up hero to appear, as well as the 120th Draw Bonus. For the Poll Draw, however, you will be able to select one of three featured heroes as your Pick Up hero.

As you continue drawing, you will be able to change your selected Pick Up hero whenever you wish based on the results of your Draws. Upon reaching 120 draws, you will also be able to choose which of the three featured heroes you would like to receive as the 120th Draw Bonus.

■ Future Update Direction

Our development team is also preparing a wider variety of content to introduce after Version 2.1.

First, we are preparing a new Raid set in the Underground Waterway for a future update. With the revamps of the existing ‘Deep Spider Nest’ and ‘Ferzen Mines’ Dungeon content coming to a close, we are now working on a brand-new Raid designed around a new area.

True to the Underground Waterway setting, we are designing the Raid around water-based mechanics that set it apart from previous Raids, such as adjusting the water level and diving to move through certain areas.

We also plan to introduce ‘Timespace Junction’ Extra Sectors, which will build on selected Sectors from Season 1 with new rules added. In these Extra Sectors, the number of times each hero can be deployed will be limited, encouraging you to develop and utilize a wider variety of heroes. Your record will be determined by the combined clear time across all Sectors.

For Timespace Junction Season 2, which began with Version 2.0, we are designing its Sectors to be easier to clear overall than those in Season 1. While the target times for earning 3 stars have also been shortened, we are aiming to keep the overall difficulty at a level that remains reasonably accessible.

With this approach, the lower overall difficulty of Timespace Junction has also made Time Attack a competition for increasingly faster clear times. In October, alongside the Extra Sectors, we plan to separate Timespace Junction into two difficulty levels: a standard difficulty for obtaining rewards and a ranking difficulty for taking on Time Attack challenges.

The standard difficulty will allow you to obtain the existing Timespace Junction rewards at a difficulty level similar to what you experience now. Meanwhile, the separate ranking difficulty will be designed as a challenge for top-ranking Star Guardians to compete for faster clear times, without offering separate clear rewards.

As the Main Story continues to expand, we are also preparing to open World Level 5 in the near future. This new World Level is being designed to offer a somewhat different content experience from previous World Levels.

World Level 5 will feature a world where the corruption of the Abyss is more active, causing Field Bosses in each region to periodically go berserk. These encounters will take the form of Field Events where you can take on and defeat the affected bosses.

This will be permanent content that can be played solo or in a party, and at certain times, it will activate as 15-player multiplayer content. While the content can be played on your own, we also want to provide an experience that brings Star Guardians together.

Beyond this, we are preparing a variety of content and events for each season, including a new Knighthood Boss following Akumu, a new 15-player Event Boss, and events such as a Fishing Tournament. In particular, through the end of the year, we plan to introduce seasonal events themed around occasions such as Halloween and the winter holidays, where you will be able to earn a variety of rewards.

Lastly, we are also preparing a revamp of the Daily Mission system for October. Our goal is to make completing Daily Missions each day provide meaningful benefits over the long term. By completing a set number of Daily Missions, you will be able to earn Summon Scrolls, and once you have collected enough of them, use those scrolls to obtain an SSR hero.

Through this revamp, we aim to make Daily Missions more worthwhile while also providing a way to obtain SSR heroes simply by playing consistently. In addition, rather than repeatedly completing Daily Missions within a single region, the revamped system will allow you to take on missions across various regions of the world.

As part of this change, you will be able to obtain Seals from various regions beyond Liones. Since Seals from different regions will be obtained at random, we also plan to update and expand the selection of items offered by Seal Merchants in each region.

Finally, after reviewing Star Guardians’ overall gameplay patterns and content completion progress through the Half-Anniversary, we discussed how we should approach the difficulty of party play going forward.

In particular, with solo clear requirements introduced in the previous update, we want party play to serve as an intermediate step in progression, helping Star Guardians take on content together that they currently find difficult, and through that experience, progress to the next stage.

We plan to adjust the overall balance of party play so that taking on challenging content together feels less demanding. We are preparing to implement these adjustments in the near future and will provide further details through a separate notice when they are applied.

Going forward, we will continue working to make Origin a game that is even more enjoyable when played together.

■ AMA Responses

Finally, we would like to address the questions and feedback you shared with us through AMA Season 3. We will focus on topics that were commonly raised by Star Guardians around the world, with additional responses that we are unable to cover here to follow in the next Developer Notes.

✦ Regarding Hero Reruns

Q. I would like another chance to obtain Pick Up heroes that I missed.

A. Hero reruns were one of the topics we received the most feedback on. As mentioned in a previous Developer Notes, we are preparing to introduce regular hero reruns following the Poll Draw rerun.

Rerun Pick Ups will feature heroes whose initial Pick Ups took place some time ago and will follow a separate schedule rather than the order in which the heroes were originally released. While some details regarding the format of Rerun Pick Ups are still under discussion, we are currently considering using the same mechanics as our existing Pick Up Draws.

We will share more specific details once the Poll Draw rerun has concluded and the first Rerun Pick Up is ready to open.

Q. I would like to see more benefits added to the Regular Hero Draw.

A. Many Star Guardians have shared feedback that the Regular Hero Draw does not feel rewarding enough. We have also received a number of suggestions, such as allowing players to select an SSR hero from those available in the Regular Hero Draw or adding Pick Up heroes to the regular pool.

Our development team also recognizes that these are areas that may need to be addressed in the long term.

However, regarding the option to select an SSR hero from the Regular Hero Draw, as mentioned earlier, we plan to introduce a system through the Daily Mission revamp that will provide a guaranteed way to obtain an SSR hero. With this in mind, we would like to first monitor Star Guardians’ SSR hero acquisition and progression before deciding how to proceed.

Similarly, we believe that in the long term, some Pick Up heroes may need to be added to the Regular Hero Draw pool. In particular, as more Pick Up heroes are introduced over time, we expect that reruns alone may eventually make it difficult to provide sufficient opportunities to obtain a wide variety of heroes.

However, as Origin has only recently passed the six-month mark and the number of heroes introduced so far is still relatively limited, we plan to revisit this topic after introducing a wider variety of heroes.

Q. Will Exclusive Skin Draws also return when a hero is rerun?

A. Yes. When a hero returns, their Exclusive Skin Draw will also return. However, since Skins cannot be obtained more than once, players who have already completed the corresponding Skin Draw will continue to see it as completed when it returns.

✦ Regarding Playable Content

Q. There isn’t enough content to play each day, and I was also disappointed with the amount of content in Version 2.0.

A. As many Star Guardians have pointed out, we would once again like to apologize for the lack of content in the Version 2.0 update.

As mentioned earlier in this Developer Notes, Version 2.1, which marks the second half of our Half-Anniversary, will introduce major new content, including the new Raid <Ferzen Mines>. Beyond Version 2.1, we are also preparing to continue adding new content through the end of the year.

Some of this new content will take the form of limited-time Event Bosses, such as Guila from the current event and Kalbash from a previous event. However, we also plan to add new permanent content, gradually building up the range of content available to play through future updates.

Q. We need more gameplay-focused events rather than Mission Events.

A. Our development team agrees with this feedback, and we are preparing to expand our lineup of gameplay-focused events going forward.

The Mission Events introduced with each update are intended to provide Star Guardians with various rewards through simple gameplay. For this reason, they are designed to serve as supplementary content rather than the core content of our events.

Going forward, we plan to regularly introduce gameplay-focused events that reflect the atmosphere of seasonal occasions such as Halloween and the winter holidays.

Outside of these seasonal periods, we will also continue featuring Event Bosses such as Kalbash and Guila, with the goal of consistently offering events that give Star Guardians something to actively play, even on a smaller scale.

Q. I want to play without being limited by Cube Keys.

A. Cube Keys are used to limit how much certain content can be played on a daily or weekly basis, helping us maintain a balance between the pace of progression and player fatigue.

Under the current system, if Cube Key limits were removed, we would also need to adjust the rate at which items and resources are obtained accordingly. This would inevitably create an environment where players would need to play more for fewer rewards.

We understand that some of our most dedicated Star Guardians may still prefer unlimited play despite this. However, we do not believe that this kind of gameplay environment would provide a positive experience for Star Guardians who prefer to enjoy the game more casually.

We believe the underlying reason many of you brought up Cube Key limits through this AMA may be that you wanted to play more content but were unable to do so because you did not have enough Cube Keys.

Our internal data also shows that since the Version 2.0 update, Cube Key reserves have noticeably decreased among players with mid-to-high Account Combat Class.

As overall Cube Key consumption has increased, we plan to gradually increase the number of Cube Keys provided through events going forward. We also plan to increase the amount that can be obtained regularly through the ‘Star Trace Fragment’ Exchange Shop and add another regular source of Cube Keys through the Daily Mission revamp mentioned earlier.

Q. Please add [Abyss] difficulty for the Albion and Drake Boss Challenges.

A. We plan to add [Abyss] difficulty to the remaining existing Boss Challenges that do not yet have it through future updates. ‘Draco King Drake’ is currently scheduled to receive [Abyss] difficulty in an update this October.

✦ Quality-of-Life Improvements

Q. The equipment filter and sorting features are inconvenient to use.

A. We have received many requests to improve the equipment filter and sorting features currently available in the game. As updates have introduced various new equipment, including Raid Equipment and new craftable armor, players now have a wider variety of equipment to obtain and manage than before.

We recognize that the current filter and sorting features fall short when it comes to managing this growing variety of equipment.

We plan to gradually improve these features through updates in the second half of the year.

Q. It is difficult to check which Engraved Equipment I have already crafted.

A. This will be improved with the Version 2.1 update.

We will also review the other quality-of-life feedback shared by Star Guardians and continue making improvements where feasible.

✦ Regarding Raid Content

Q. Please ease the requirements for including heroes of the same Attribute in Raid teams.

A. The Attribute requirements tied to Pledges in Raid content are intended to encourage Star Guardians to develop and make use of heroes across a variety of Attributes.

Rather than having every Raid cleared with a single team, we designed these Pledge conditions to encourage players to build and use teams of different Attributes based on each Raid’s weakness. At the same time, we also included certain alternative conditions for players who may find it difficult to build multiple teams right away.

Since encouraging teams of different Attributes is a core purpose of these Pledges, it would be difficult to remove the Pledges themselves. However, we will consider easing certain requirements, such as the number of heroes of the same Attribute that must be included in a team, while taking our future hero release plans into account.

Q. Please increase the number of weekly Mystic Keys.

A. Many Star Guardians have asked for more opportunities to play Raids.

As we plan to continue introducing new Raids after <Ferzen Mines> in Version 2.1, we expect the variety of equipment that players need to obtain across different Raids to increase as well.

With this in mind, our development team is preparing to gradually increase the number of Mystic Keys distributed each week.

However, under the current reward structure, every Mystic Key can lead to Star Fragments, so we need to be careful about providing more Mystic Keys. We are preparing changes to the reward structure through a future update so that we can provide more Mystic Keys than before.

Alongside these changes, we are also preparing to change the currency required to obtain rewards on lower Raid difficulties from Mystic Keys to Cube Keys, with the aim of providing more opportunities to play these difficulties.

We will share more details through a future Developer Notes once these improvements are ready.

Q. It is inconvenient when clear times are delayed because we have to wait for party members who fall behind during traversal sections, such as platforming areas.

A. Many Star Guardians have shared their frustration with having to wait for other party members who fall behind in sections where traversal can be difficult, resulting in longer clear times. We have also received suggestions such as automatically teleporting party members or introducing a checkpoint system to help them move forward.

Our development team is also aware that some Star Guardians currently use Emergency Escape to quickly bypass certain traversal sections.

While this was not an intended use of Emergency Escape within Raids, we recognize that many Star Guardians are currently making use of it. As suggested through this AMA, we would like to explore adding a new feature that allows the entire party to quickly move forward together at certain points.

We also received many other valuable suggestions regarding Raids, including making it easier to check whether Pledge conditions have been met before using a Mystic Key, as well as providing reduced rewards to give players an incentive to continue joining Raid parties even after using all of their weekly Mystic Keys.

We will actively review these suggestions internally and share further details when they are ready to be implemented.

✦ Regarding Timespace Junction

Q. The difficulty of certain Sectors in Timespace Junction feels unreasonable.

A. We received a great deal of feedback from Star Guardians regarding Timespace Junction Season 1.

Timespace Junction Season 1 was introduced as our highest-level challenge content before Raids were added. Its core objective was to build teams of various Attributes suited to each Sector, overcome the mechanics presented there, and clear each Sector within the required time.

However, we found that certain mechanics and patterns were more difficult for Star Guardians than we had anticipated, and that there was considerable dissatisfaction with the difficulty of earning 3-star rewards. We took this feedback into consideration when preparing the next season.

In particular, with the addition of other challenging content to take on, including Raids and [Transcendence] difficulty for Boss Challenges, we wanted Timespace Junction Season 2 to offer a somewhat lower level of difficulty than the previous season.

Those who have already cleared Sectors 1 and 2 may have noticed this to some extent. Overall, Timespace Junction Season 2 is designed to be easier to clear than Season 1, and we have also reduced resistance to the weakness Attribute assigned to each Sector so that the content is less demanding to take on and clear.

We also removed the requirement to clear previous Sectors first, which was one of the areas many Star Guardians commented on during Season 1. This was intended to improve accessibility by allowing Star Guardians who are still progressing to clear Sectors that suit their teams first before taking on others.

With Timespace Junction now intended to offer a less demanding challenge overall, we will also be more proactive than in Season 1 about making adjustments if there are mechanics or Sectors that Star Guardians feel are overly demanding.

Beyond feedback regarding the difficulty of Timespace Junction, we have also received requests to redesign its ranking brackets. Taking this feedback into account, we plan to readjust the ranking brackets and rewards as additional Sectors are opened. For future seasons, we will also work to introduce a greater variety of combat formats and clear conditions, such as wave-based battles and defense scenarios, rather than relying solely on boss battles.

✦ Regarding Randomness in Equipment Bonuses

A. Through this AMA, we received a great deal of feedback regarding the randomness of Equipment Bonuses. In particular, many Star Guardians pointed out that with systems such as Enchantment and Engraved Equipment Bonus rerolls, while there is an option to retain bonuses, having to reroll all bonuses together can still make the process burdensome.

We also received various suggestions for addressing this, such as allowing certain bonuses to be locked by spending additional resources. We will review possible ways to ease the current Equipment Bonus system in Origin.

✦ Regarding Advance Information on Heroes

A. Many Star Guardians have asked us to share details about hero performance and Potential information earlier. As those who watch our official livestreams may already know, we continue testing and adjusting hero skills and performance until shortly before each update announcement. As a result, it is difficult to provide accurate information any earlier.

However, starting with the Version 2.1 update, you will be able to check a hero’s performance and skill information in the Pick Up Draw and Hero Trial Dungeon before obtaining the hero in-game.

✦ Regarding Resources for New Progression Systems

Q. I feel that too many materials are required to Transcend Engraved Equipment.

A. As mentioned at the beginning of this Developer Notes, we are aware that the overall supply of Transcendence Refinement Stones and Transcendence Engraving Stones needed to Transcend Engraved Equipment is currently insufficient.

Because the new content intended to provide these materials is currently unavailable, players are currently relying on the amount obtainable from Boss Challenges, which were originally intended only as a supplementary source. As a result, Transcendence progression feels more difficult than we had originally intended.

As mentioned earlier, we plan to address this as quickly as possible. As a first step, we will gradually increase the amount of these materials available for exchange through upcoming events.

We also plan to add Transcendence Refinement Stones and Transcendence Engraving Stones to the Raid Shop. In the longer term, we plan to establish reliable sources for obtaining these materials and ensure that the new content currently in development also provides a guaranteed way to obtain them.

Q. Transcending Engraved Equipment requires too much Gold.

A. The amount of Gold consumed through Transcendence Refinement has also increased. We plan to alleviate the burden of Gold and other progression materials by providing additional ways to obtain Cube Keys.

As a first step, we plan to increase the number of Cube Keys available in exchange for Star Trace Fragments.

Currently, up to 125 Cube Keys can be obtained every six weeks using Star Trace Fragments. Starting with the Version 2.1 update, we will increase both the exchange frequency and quantity, allowing up to 160 Cube Keys to be obtained each week.

In the longer term, we are also preparing to increase the overall supply of Cube Keys through measures such as the Daily Mission revamp mentioned earlier.

Through AMA Season 3, many Star Guardians shared feedback on areas in need of improvement, along with a wide range of suggestions.

Once again, we sincerely thank all Star Guardians for your active participation and valuable feedback. We will continue to carefully consider what you have shared with us as we prepare future updates. In this Developer Notes, we have focused first on responding to the topics that were most commonly raised by Star Guardians.

For the feedback and suggestions we were unable to address in this Developer Notes, we will continue to provide responses in future Developer Notes.

■ Closing the Developer Notes

Throughout our Half-Anniversary updates spanning Versions 2.0 and 2.1, many Star Guardians have shared feedback on areas where we fell short and where you felt improvements were needed. Our development team is taking all of this feedback to heart.

We believe Origin is currently going through a period of transition. Through the updates since launch, we have continued to improve and refine areas where the game has fallen short, with the goal of making Origin a game that can be enjoyed for many years to come.

If the updates leading up to our Half-Anniversary were a period of addressing areas where Origin fell short, we want the period ahead to be one of creating new experiences and readjusting existing ones so that we can continue bringing you a stable gameplay experience for many years to come.

This extends beyond the stability of the game itself. We intend to carefully explore and evaluate many aspects of Origin, from new content and experiences unique to Origin to a direction that provides meaningful long-term goals, and gradually introduce them over time. We hope you will continue to follow Origin beyond Version 2.0 and share your thoughts and feedback with us along the way.

We believe there are still many areas where Origin falls short. With that in mind, we hope you will continue to watch Origin grow beyond Version 2.0 and toward Version 3.0 as we continue building the game together with our Star Guardians.

Lastly, as a token of our appreciation to all Star Guardians who have joined us for our Half-Anniversary, we have prepared a small gift for you below.
