Today's update brings a major economy and sponsorship overhaul.
Content licensing now uses clearer popularity-based price tiers, licenses last longer, station progression has new requirements, and the sponsor system has been rebuilt around risk, reputation, objectives, and long-term relationships.
Content prices now follow a popularity-based price curve, creating clearer options for every stage of your station.
Prices range from around $1.5K for filler content up to $120K for prestige titles.
Standard licenses now last 21 days, reducing the frequency of renewals and making long-term scheduling easier to manage.
Regional and National upgrades now require more than simply having enough cash.
Progression takes into account:
Available cash
Station reputation
Average viewers
A permanent Top-3 weekly ratings finish
These requirements make reaching the higher station tiers something you need to earn through successful broadcasting.
We've also retuned ad rates, reach overhead, and the cumulative ad-revenue bonus, which is now capped at 1.5× to keep the late-game economy challenging and sustainable.
Sponsors have been rebuilt from the ground up.
Every deal now introduces meaningful choices through risk levels, performance objectives, sponsor reputation, and per-brand relationships.
Before signing a sponsor, you can now choose between three risk levels:
Safe — 20% lower payouts, but easier requirements and softer penalties.
Standard — the baseline contract.
Aggressive — higher upfront and per-ad payouts, plus a larger completion bonus, but with stricter requirements and heavier penalties for missed objectives.
The negotiation screen shows the adjusted contract values before you commit.
Your station now has a Sponsor Reputation score from 0–100.
Successful contracts and perfect streaks increase reputation, while missed objectives, failed contracts, and cancellations reduce it.
Higher reputation unlocks better sponsor offers, including larger brands, exclusive contracts, and higher payouts.
Sponsor contracts now include daily and cumulative objectives based on your actual broadcast performance.
Objectives can include:
Daily ad counts
Demographic viewership
Total audience
Prime-time performance
Best-program audience
Completing daily objectives builds a perfect-day streak, increasing completion bonuses and reputation gains.
Repeatedly missing objectives can cause a contract to fail early.
Every sponsor brand now has its own relationship score.
Successful contracts improve your relationship with a brand, while failures and cancellations damage it.
Strong relationships can provide up to a +10% payout bonus on future offers from that sponsor.
Build a good reputation with a brand, and its deals can become more valuable over time.
Sponsors can now trigger events during an active contract.
These can introduce bonus opportunities, warnings about upcoming penalties, or special incentive payouts.
When a contract is successfully completed, you'll receive a detailed completion bonus including cash, reputation, and relationship gains.
Perfect streaks can provide an additional bonus.
Cancelling a sponsor immediately after collecting the upfront payment is no longer profitable.
When cancelling a contract, you must now repay the unearned portion of the upfront payment, based on the remaining contract duration, plus a 15% penalty.
Cancellation also reduces your Sponsor Reputation by 6 and the affected brand relationship by 15 points.
You must have enough cash to cover the repayment, preventing the contract from being used as a source of free money.
The previous economy made the early game too restrictive while allowing the late game to scale too freely. The new pricing tiers, longer licenses, and progression requirements create a smoother path from a small local station to a national network.
Sponsors have also evolved from a simple source of income into a strategic part of station management.
Risk levels let you choose how aggressively to negotiate, performance objectives connect sponsor income directly to your broadcast quality, and reputation and brand relationships reward long-term success.
Build your audience. Earn your reputation. Negotiate smarter. Grow your station.
