Greetings Maze Architects!

This time around we're releasing a smaller 1.1.1 patch, tackling some of the bugs the community found and reported (thank you!), and bringing a balance change to Disarmers and Destroyers, all while continuing our work on additional content that will be released in patch 1.2 a bit later.

As always, we invite you to join our community on Discord - it's the best place to share feedback, report bugs, and chat with the team.

Balance changes

  • Disarmers and Destroyers now disarm or destroy only the first encountered device. We're still looking into ways of balacing these units, and we're open to further feedback on how they feel, once you get the chance to play with them post-patch

Bugfixes

  • Crash fix: The game should no longer crash when attempting to return to the Main Menu, while enemy groups were in the process of merging

  • Crash fix: The game should no longer occasionally crash, when a combination of Deadly Doors, Kerosene artifact and Combustible status is involved

  • Asterion can now reach XP level 8 in Roguelite mode

  • Hatch of Forgetting can no longer be abused multiple times after reloading the game

  • Pawn Show Hatches can now spawn also in Endless Mode

  • Remaining Enemies panel no longer improperly carries over to Traversal HUD if the player leaves the game during Death Sequence and loads back into Traversal

  • Walls created by the player on levels with the Sandbox modifier active are now properly saved when leaving the game

  • Ancient Imaginarium now becomes inactive if the player uses the standard Imaginarium first to claim a discounted device

  • Shifting Passage now properly pushes Asterion away after returning to its initial position upon completing the wave

  • The Luring Trap + projectile combo increased damage is now properly saved when reloading the level

  • Spike Trap tooltips now properly display modified damage before placing the trap on the level, with the Spike Trap Amplifier artifact active

  • Ballista tooltips now display correct damage values before placing them on the level with the Finisher Ballistas artifact equipped

  • Diggables now display correct cost for digging with the Glass Shovel and Gold Pickaxe artifacts active

  • Boulder 2A "Diminishing" now properly turns as expected when the Atlas combo is active

  • Gems gathered with the Iron Maiden 2B "Mineral Distiller" are now displayed in the Victory Screen

  • Some Lexicon entries should no longer be doubled

  • It is no longer possible to surrender the wave during the Death Sequence

  • It is no longer possible to skip a cutscene with a single button tap after pausing the cutscene first

  • The progress erase warning popup button in the Main Menu no longer plays double SFX when attempting to start a new game

Previous build is being moved to a separate branch just as a safety measure, and can be still accessed through the Game Versions & Betas menu of the Steam Client.

  • Branch name: minos_previous_build

  • Password: lookingforexit

While we do not predict the patch to cause any issues with the existing saves, you can always backup your save files by accessing their default location, and creating a copy: C:\\Users\\%username%\\AppData\\Local\\Minos\\Saved\\SaveGames

Thank you for your interest in MINOS, and we hope you'll have a fun time with MINOS 1.1.1
