Hey all-
I've got the beta published now on the Beta branch; English only, and then on Sunday (in just two days) I'll publish the 4.1 with any fixes, and the machine translation for all the non-English languages.
What's in the update?
We've renamed Jack's boss to Chuck (instead of having two characters named Bob...that was confusing).
Updated the replay gallery to show an image in color when the scene is unlocked - this matches the same UX pattern in our other games.
Added a half dozen new sound effects & one new music track.
Replaced some legacy images when Jack takes Joy home with a new set of images that I think are higher quality (the porch light wasn't on in the previous images, and the tone was too cold, Jack wasn't in any of the frames, etc).
Added some new images to the scene with Jack where he meets Eva.
Added the new scene with Jack meeting Bob, if you choose to keep knocking on the mystery third door in the hallway free roam experience.
Added a new scene with Emma and Kathryn talking after Jack returns to Joy and they chat on the couch.
Updated both scenes with Jack & Emma and the scene with Jack & Kathryn to improve the dialogue and give you the option to reject them even after entering the bathroom / or the 3rd bedroom - rejecting them gives a little more information about Joy.
Other story improvements throughout the game.
Ability to rename Jack if you want to customize the MC's name, similar to our other titles (this was by request).
To get this version before the official launch on Sunday, just switch the Steam depot to the beta branch and grab the download.
