Thveit is Now on Steam!

After years of development, countless iterations, and countless hours spent bringing this world to life, we're incredibly excited to finally welcome you to Thveit's Steam page.

Thveit is a living, Norse-inspired city builder where you'll build a thriving settlement through farming, trade, and a growing economy while forging relationships with neighboring realms. Inspired by Norse folklore, the world is shaped by ancient Gods, mythical creatures, and forgotten traditions. Alongside your settlers, you'll care for cats and livestock, live among rich wildlife, and build in a world where nature is as much a part of the experience as the villages themselves.

From the very beginning, our vision has been to create a city builder that feels warm, grounded, and alive - a place where villages grow organically, every decision matters, and every settlement tells its own unique story.

Today, we're proud to share our very first official announcement trailer and invite you to be part of Thveit's journey as development continues.

If Thveit looks like a game you'd enjoy, adding it to your Steam Wishlist is one of the biggest ways you can support us at this stage of development. Every wishlist helps us reach more players and continue building the game we've always dreamed of creating.

Thank you for believing in Thveit and for joining us at the very beginning of this adventure. We can't wait to share much more with you in the months ahead.

This is only the beginning.

A loaf of bread starts as a field of rye. A mug of mead starts as a row of barley. A warm coat starts as a sheep in a pasture. This time we finally sat down and walked the whole economy from field to table - and it turned into one of our biggest devlogs yet. Today we'd like to share a lo…Community27 Jul 2026Norse Folklore Comes to Life - Devlog #3Hello everyone 👋, Ever since we began designing Thveit , we knew we didn't want Norse mythology to simply be decoration. Many games use Vikings as an aesthetic. You build longhouses, wear fur cloaks, place a few runestones, and that's where the mythology ends. For us, mythology is part of everyday life. The people settling these lands genuinely believe the forests are inhabited, the sea answer…
