Q works while your hands are full

  • Tap Q to set a carried item down — the same as E, no fumbling. It used to do nothing at all while you were carrying something, which is how people ended up pressing left-click and hurling the thing instead.
  • Hold Q to throw it, on the same power meter as a left-click throw.
  • Left-click with cargo charges too now: a quick click is the weakest possible throw, and putting something down is E or a short Q.
  • The ball, the cart and the lift's defibrillator are excluded — they work as they did.

Fragile cargo says so

  • The first time you pick up something fragile — a flask, a cryo barrel, an egg, a gas cylinder, a cell, a crystal, the Core — a card tells you how to put it down and that a hard throw will break it.
  • The first time you actually break one with a throw, a card says so, to the person who threw it. A flask bursting on concrete reads as "it was just fragile", not "I did that".

Creatures can be kicked

  • The third time a Screamer howls at you, a one-time card says creatures can be kicked — . Outside the tutorial the game never showed that key anywhere, while everything else on the floor teaches you to hide from creatures — and from a Screamer, hiding does not work: every howl calls the rest of the floor in.

Removed

  • The warehouse keycard is gone. The card, its terminal and the "NO ACCESS" refusal are all removed — the warehouse is simply available.

A real noise through the normal pipeline: a bright flash in your own colour, about a 7 m front, and the floor hears it. · It is the light you have when you cannot or will not speak — and the creatures treat a clapper exactly like a talker, so a clap next to one gets you hit. · Flash brightness doubled and down on th…Game update6 Oct 20260.4.2 — Hotfix0.4.2 — Hotfix The Core Hound guards · It used to stand on the Core and let anyone walk up. Now it growls at anything inside 4.5 m and bites inside 2.6 m — one bite concusses, a second in the same window kills, and carrying the Core off still gets you killed outright. · It guards the Core wherever the Core is lying — in its cradle or in a cart. · Hit it and you become its problem. Thanks to everyone who sent reports. Sending photos and video · "VIDEO LOST" is fixed. Large sends were flooding the network queue and quietly dropping — so a clip would upload most of the way and then die. Files now go across in an acknowledged window with retries, and the send buffer is eight times bigger. Photos, video and…
