Coaching is easier when the action is clear and the sideline behaves like part of the game. Our latest development pass focuses on the flow of Matchday, from the whistle to the next snap.
Player markers now move more steadily when changing direction and working through crowded areas. Numbers and names remain attached to the correct player, keeping the tactical view easier to follow.

Classic 2D keeps the play, player identities and energy bars readable.
The three-person officiating crew covers the offensive backfield, the line and the defense. After the whistle, the ball-spotting official moves to the football, collects it, carries it to the next spot and clears the play. Players leave an approach lane instead of trapping the official inside the huddle.
The chain crew works from the bottom sideline, outside the field, with a visible down marker. Officials and chains can reposition while narration finishes, helping the next play feel ready without cutting off the broadcast.
Outgoing players return to separate vacant bench positions, while incoming players move toward the huddle. Player labels and energy indicators follow the actual lineup.
The Unit Substitutions screen lets you preview backup offense, backup defense or both units, retain your starting quarterback, and review the changes before the next snap.

Review the lineup and energy impact before rotating your units.
Coach portraits no longer carry the gray role strip across their artwork. The transitions between the halftime broadcast, locker room and second-half plan have also been cleaned up to remove the brief field flash.

Read your staff's assessment and choose how to address the team.
