CRETA: Taskbar Fishing · published · build 25308917
Hello, Captains!
The CRETA demo is coming soon to Steam! You’ll be able to begin your journey in the demo and continue it in the full game. The first time you launch the full game on the same Steam account and computer, you’ll be able to choose to continue from your demo save and bring the Earthquake Effect you unlocked in the demo with you.
Here’s what has been added since our previous announcement:
Tornado: A new permanent tattoo effect has been added. Tornado can grant materials and works alongside Earthquake, Lightning, and Tsunami. It also comes with its own unique sea animation and catch-result effects.
Heraklion Production: New production materials and five new crafting recipes have been added, allowing you to make use of materials collected from previous regions.
Mystic Path: A new progression path has been added, featuring five research upgrades, five one-time solutions, and progression through Mystic Points. A new card objective, region-specific scenes, and a redesigned quest view have also been added. Research and solution progress on this path is preserved after a Prestige reset.
Double Catch: The targets and tattoo effects of both catches are now calculated independently. Both targets are also displayed in the sea view.
New In-Game Achievement: Unlocking Tornado is now tied to the “Forge the Cards IV” achievement.
Bank Balance: Vault collection prices now increase based on purchase order.
Platinum Trophy: In the full game, the number of catches required per fish species has been increased from 10,000 to 1,000,000. Your existing catch history is preserved, and trophy levels are recalculated based on the new target. All other trophy thresholds remain unchanged.
Performance: Unnecessary repeated calculations have been reduced in production, storage, fish unlock previews, and bulk upgrades. Extra screen redraws caused by effect notifications have also been eliminated.
A hidden Easter egg has been added.
I’m looking forward to your feedback! Your Steam reviews, suggestions in the Discussions section, and bug reports actively help shape the development of CRETA. Adding the game to your wishlist, playing it, and sharing your experience means a lot to me.
See you at sea!
