We’re back from gamescom and wanted to share a few of our favorite moments from the week!
Seeing so many people sit down and completely lose themselves in the world of Herdles was probably the biggest highlight for us ːdreamheartː
So many of you wanted to keep playing, and hearing Herdles compared to games like Spyro, Okami and Zelda was a huge compliment ːheart_eyes_yetiː
We were also incredibly happy with the response to our commitment to accessibility.
One moment that meant a lot to us was meeting someone who was able to play Herdles after struggling to find another game at the Indie Arena Booth that worked for their specific needs.
Making Herdles as accessible as we can has been one of our goals from the very beginning, so sseeing those features actually help someone play the game always feels very special.
It was also wonderful to see how many people care about accessibility in games. We even got to talk about our approach in a few interviews, which we’ll happily share once they’re online!
We usually describe Herdles as "Spyro meets Breath of the Wild with a magical dog".

Another highlight was just how lovely all the other developers were.
Everyone was supporting each other, stopping by each other’s booths and sharing the games they were excited about. There were so many wonderful indies at the show and we’re hoping this won’t be the last time you see Herdles hanging out with some of them 👀
A lot of you asked if you could keep playing at home and some of you never got the chance to play at the booth because it was simply too busy.
So... we’re extending the playtest!
