We’re thrilled to announce that Magi Scapes demo is officially live for Steam Next Fest!
To celebrate the launch, we’ve rolled out a major update full of bug fixes, gameplay optimizations, and quality-of-life improvements — many of which come directly from your early playtest feedback. Thank you for all your support and bug reports so far. They help us polish the game and build a better experience for everyone.
Bug Fixes
Fixed incorrect crystal cost display on the character recruitment screen
Fixed scene loading failure when starting a new game. Note: Previously affected save files will require a new playthrough to resolve the issue
Fixed unexpected background music cutoff during dialogue scenes
Fixed incorrect stat values on certain in-game items
Fixed invisible weapon slots in the NPC inventory interface at specific display resolutions
Fixed issues where some loot drops failed to spawn correctly
Fixed malfunctioning group chat dialogue functionality
Improvements & Adjustments
Added location tracking guidance for the Red-Eyed Beast quest
Added fallback initialization logic for camp flags to prevent progression softlocks
Revised "Sort All" and "Deposit All" mechanics: quick-slot items will no longer be automatically deposited into chests
Optimized the placement of prompt text objects in the prologue scene - Added new control shortcut: “Ctrl + Left Click” to quickly deposit items into chests or NPC inventories
