The reality snapped, and the old friends reappeared again - this time introducing Villedor to dimensions of fun and challenge! Let’s see what the Breach is about, and what else we have prepared for you in this Update.

The Breach

We're thrilled to introduce the Breach, transforming Dying Light 2: Stay Human into a vibrant platform for new experiences and adventures. Dive into a world where you can create and explore custom maps and mods. Whether you're crafting simple gameplay tweaks or entirely new experiences, the Breach empowers you to shape your own adventures! Inspired by our Tower Raid mode, we're expanding the Hub by adding old friends - Tolga and Fatin - and they are here to stay! You can find them in the Hub right after completing the Prologue. Take bounties, explore community-created maps and mods, and earn unique rewards. Create unique runs and enjoy the thrill of unpredictability - third person view and zero gravity? Why not!To ensure this experience to be seamless, we enhanced the UI/UX by better integration of mod.io. Moreover, each week you can expect fresh reality breaches, alongside carefully selected classics, with a focus on map updates. The first month highlights the Survival Archives, enriching your explorations. We’re spotlighting high-quality community creations with filters like "Featured", "Curated", and "Official" to help you discover the best ones on mod.io. You can also play custom maps in Co-op through direct invite! We don’t want to limit your imagination, but some of the most demanding maps won’t be available on old gen consoles as of now.
Join us in shaping the future of Dying Light 2: Stay Human with endless possibilities. Your creativity is the driving force behind this transformative journey. Let’s make Dying Light World a thriving hub for all players, old and new!

Early Game Experience Improvements

In patch 1.28, we're excited to unveil enhancements to the early game experience in Dying Light 2: Stay Human. We've refined the prologue to be shorter and more engaging, letting players dive into the core of the game quicker. We improved the lighting in prologue cutscenes, removed yellow markers, and adjusted color grading. To help new players acclimate, the encounter difficulty in the Old Town's Houndfield has been adjusted for a smoother transition, along with a reduced number of Volatiles in the early stages. In Region 1, Volatiles now have slower detection and attacks, offering a fairer challenge. Additionally, looting has been spiced up with the chance for random rare drops from infected, adding an element of unpredictability to your scavenging. These updates are designed to create a captivating and balanced early game journey.

Global UI Enhancements

We're excited to announce comprehensive UI improvements across the game, enhancing both navigation and functionality! The in-game store now features tabs, streamlining your shopping experience by decluttering and organizing it. Alongside this, our newly introduced discount management system brings clarity with real-time sales indicators and countdowns. These updates are part of a broader UI refresh, including visual changes like updated input buttons and top-page tabs, ensuring a consistent and fluid interface throughout the entire game, from the store to the player menu. Enjoy the enhanced experience!
