Update v0.2.25 is now live! This update completely eliminates background combat throttling when the game is minimized, upgrades our background simulation engine, and introduces major balance improvements to Coven Event trial progression and Grave Harvesting.
Unthrottled Minimized Combat Progression
• Eliminated Background Throttling: Resolved an issue where Chromium and OS energy-saving coalesced background timers and clamped simulation bursts to 5 seconds, discarding up to 50% or more of combat time while minimized.
• Delta-Time Accumulator: Replaced lossy timer clamping with an accurate simulation accumulator capable of processing up to 10 minutes of elapsed combat without dropping a single millisecond or fractional tick remainder.
• Dedicated Web Worker Ticker: Implemented an isolated background Web Worker ticker immune to main-thread power throttling, maintaining true 100ms combat pacing while minimized or in inactive workspaces.
• Instant Focus Catchup: Restoring, alt-tabbing, or maximizing the window now triggers an instant simulation reconciliation before the screen paints, ensuring your combat state, HP, and meters are immediately up to date.
• Burst Audio & Splat Suppression: High-speed catch-up sub-ticks now suppress audio stacking and damage splat clustering, ensuring a smooth, crisp return to the fight.
Coven Events & Progression Polish
• Grave Harvesting XP Rebalance: Corrected the solo and group XP rewards for Grave Harvesting trial objectives during automated Coven events to properly match high-tier skill benchmarks.
• Extended Trial Baseline: Increased the base duration for Coven event trial stages from 120s to 300s, providing sufficient time for solo and group participants to complete objective quotas.
• Seamless Session Tracking: Your Hunt Summary elapsed counter, kills/hour, and pending session spoils now accurately reflect your exact real-world combat duration when multitasking.
