Neverbound Minigames Are All Dressed up and Ready for Mad Tea Party

Ever since the first Neverbound playtests started, all of our minigames have been in graybox, dressed in basic visuals so that you can test out the mechanics and the feel of the game without any polish getting in the way. But that’s no longer the case! We have dressed up 15 of our minigames for the occasion, and you can test them out now through our playtest.

Why We’re Doing This Now?

None of this is decoration for its own sake. We dressed up the minigames because graybox tells you nothing about the tone of Nevebound, about the deep narrative or the world you’re stepping into. So, we rolled up our sleeves and gave our minigames a fresh coat of paint that better depicts the tone, the dread, the strategic chaos, and the betrayal baked into the very essence of Neverbound. This won’t be the final version of these minigames. These are placeholders used to convey the tone of Neverbound. For the full release, deep lore, narrative, unique designs, and easter eggs will be added to all minigames and boards. This means a complete rework of current visuals, not touch-ups or modifications.

List of Dressed-Up Minigames

Here is the full list of minigames that have been dressed up:

  • Hedgehog Drive

  • Table Manners

  • Eye For an Eye

  • Drowning Pool

  • Psychic Pruning

  • Balls Course

  • Choose And Die

  • Pushing Obstacles

  • Stop Player

  • Line Jumping

  • Hiding Platforms

  • Ball Drop Peg

  • Object Pickup

  • Attacking Cylinders

  • Jump Dodge

  • Obstacle Ring

Remember, Neverbound mixes with friends and a bit of strategic, well-planned betrayal on the side. So, make sure you bring a couple of friends as you test out the minigames!

Update your build, jump into the playtest, and see for yourself how much closer this feels to the game we're building.
