The MENACE OCI Rework completely revamped the OCI system and, at the time of release, was the biggest change to gameplay during Early Access. In the new system, there are still three basic OCI slots, but they have been renamed to better include certain OCIs. You will now start the game with a few basic OCIs that are always unlocked, and as you unlock new faction-specific modules, the base ones will be replaced and upgraded. This gives everyone the tools they need to survive in the Wayback while providing progression and customization to the OCI system.

This update not only revamps the OCI system but also takes a look at UI improvements like adding a marker for your current distance in the tooltip of attacks, reworking maximum authority and maximum squaddies, as well as adding new animations and models. Make sure to check out the patch notes and the Dev Diary to get the full story on, the teams reasoning for the changes and to get more information on all the additions.

The MENACE Terrain Update not only overhauled the terrain in MENACE but also added new 3D weapon models, alien skins, QoL improvements, and bug fixes. This update also has an accompanying Dev Diary, so make sure to check that out if you would like more information on how the new terrain is generated. Some other great additions in this update are a new UI for squad leader stat growth visualization, improvements like being able to compare light, medium, and heavy vehicle weapons, and new 3D weapon models for the anti-materiel rifle and the MAAL HE-rocket launcher.

The newest update to MENACE The Alien Update brings new units to the Alien wildlife faction, bringing new challenges and keeping the faction relevant into the mid-game. The Blaster Queen, Harpy Queen, and Evolved Warrior have all been added to the game, and each has their own unique strengths that you will have to learn and adapt around. Of course, this isn't the only thing added in this patch; the small stinger aliens have gotten a new skin to make them more noticeable on the battle map, and a new weapon model has been added to the game: The Enhanced EM Assault Rifle.
