Another day - Another patch! This patch focuses primarily on improving multiplayer stability, while also adding an option to disable the ageing system for players who prefer to play without it :)Patch Notes

  • Added an option to disable the ageing system when starting a new game.

  • Multiplayer chat history will no longer reset after returning from a match.

  • Overhauled how multiplayer data is synchronized between players. This should significantly reduce desynchronization issues and provide a more stable overall experience.

  • Fixed an issue where Former Doctores were not correctly added to the recruitment queue in multiplayer games, along with the related inbox messages.

  • Updated the league tiebreaker rules. After head-to-head results, the second tiebreaker is now the highest combined Fame of all Gladiators belonging to the Ludus.

  • Fixed an issue that could prevent VSync from working correctly.

  • Other buttons can now be clicked while the expanded trait list is open.

  • Deleting a save now automatically refreshes both the singleplayer and multiplayer save lists.

  • Renaming a save to the name of an existing save will now automatically overwrite it.

  • Fixed a rare issue that could cause the mouse cursor to disappear in the Post-Match panel.

Patch 0.93.1A

  • Fixed a critical issue that could cause the End of Season standings to differ from the actual league table.

As always, thank you for your continued support! It is incredible to see so many of you playing and enjoying the game, and it is extremely motivating!

Best regards,
Mathias

Today, I have another update packed with exciting additions for you to enjoy! :) Before we get to the patch notes, I want to clear up something important. With version 0.96 now out, you might understandably think the game is approaching a full 1.0 release. To be completely transparent, I didn’t plan the version numbering as carefully as I should have. Even if we reach “1.0” i…Major update3 Sep 2026Patch 0.95 is out now!Salvēte dear Roman Citizens! I know this update has taken a little longer than expected, but the new World View required me to rework quite a few of the game’s underlying systems. The positive side of this is that the way Gladiators, Lanistas and Doctores are handled is now much more modular, which also opens the door for potential future systems such as transfers between Ludi and much more.
