Today is the day! The official Demon Bluff demo is out now!
Because we are launching this new demo version of the game, we will be shutting down the playtest. If you haven't played the game yet and didn't participate in the playtest, this demo will give you a chance to experience a lot of content from the game, including:

There's also a lot of exciting new stuff we're introducing for the first time in this demo version!
Lycanthrope - This is a Good Outcast character who doesn't lie and will disguise as a random not-in play VIllager, but only if you reveal him in the first 4 cards! If you don't, then Night falls and he transforms into the...
Werewolf - This Evil Minion disguises themself, lies to you, and even deals damage to the player if a 2nd Night falls after revealing 4 more cards.
Relics add an extra wrinkle of challenge to each round of Demon Bluff. They're passive items that modify the conditions of your Village when you start a round. For example, there's the Grave Flame which makes you lose health if you reveal the last four cards. There's also the Severed Horn, which makes the character in slot #1 always tell the truth.
In Endless Mode, a different random Relic is activated each round. In Deckbuilding Mode, you'll pick one new Relic every 2 Villages or so. There are nine different Relics to experience in the Demon Bluff demo, with plenty more planned for the full release.
We plan to have 13 languages available to play Demon Bluff in on release, and this demo is the debut of some of our localization options for the game! We're still hard at work fixing and implementing each one, but soon you'll be able to experience the demo in the following languages:

Demon Bluff has a lot of dynamic text systems to make all of the lies, disguises, and randomized encounters work together. We're doing our best to ensure that all of the possible dialogue and text you'll encounter in-game makes as much sense as possible, no matter what your language of choice is. It's a big task, and we're working hard to make sure each language is in a great place - so please share any feedback you have on our language options when you dive into the demo! And keep an eye out for posts here and in the official Discord to know when your preferred language has been updated and implemented in-game.
Alongside all of the big new content listed above, we've packed a lot of polish and improvements into this demo release. Here's a rundown of what else you can expect in this version:
UI Overhaul - We've completely updated the gameplay HUD! There's new art for the Kill button, the Deck button, and your Health. Plus, we've cleaned up the info section in the top-left with a new design. Check it out:
Character change - Oracle: The oracle will no longer mention Wretch in her info. This was causing a lot of issues for new players, so we decided to make a change to help ease her interactions with Wretch a little bit.
Bug fix - Dreamer: Fixed an issue where, in rare cases, she was able to say true information when lying.
