What's new in v0.2.9:
Custom Avatar Creator
- 🆕 GLB→VRM Converter — Instant Results — Converted models now appear in the dropdown immediately after conversion. No more app restart required.
- 🆕 Delete Models You Don't Want — New "🗑️ Delete Selected Model" button lets you permanently remove unwanted models from your library. Deleted models stay deleted across restarts.
- 🔧 Fixed: Custom Models Reappearing After Delete — A bug caused deleted models to come back on next launch. Fixed with a one-time migration system that respects your deletions.
- 🔧 Fixed: Face Expressions on Converted Models — The GLB→VRM converter had an off-by-one error in blendshape mapping. Shape Key Gen's ARKit expressions (eye blink, jaw open, brow raise, etc.) now map correctly, enabling face tracking on custom characters.
- 🔧 Fixed: GLB→VRM Converter — Full ARKit + Shape Key Gen Support[/b] — 55 humanoid bones auto-mapped including all finger joints. VRM 1.0 output (VRMC_vrm).
Camera-Based Face Tracking
- 🆕 😤 Face Emotion Detection — New section in Advanced Controls. When enabled, your real facial expressions trigger matching avatar body animations: furrow your brows and the avatar goes angry, widen your eyes for scared, big smile for happy. Set how strong and how long you need to hold the expression with the new threshold and hold duration sliders.
- 🔧 Fixed: AI Emotion → Face Overlay — When the AI responds with an emotion, the avatar's face now briefly mirrors it (happy smile, angry brows, etc.) for 3 seconds. Works with or without camera tracking enabled.
Other Fixes
- 🔧 Fixed: Right-Click Orbit Gets Stuck — Right-clicking and dragging to rotate the avatar would get permanently stuck. Now clears correctly when the mouse button is released.
