Thank you so much to everyone who's played PENCILS DOWN! We've really appreciated all the feedback, videos, streams, and support since launch.
We've got a new update coming soon after the current discount ends on September 18, so be sure to snag a copy while you can and spread the word to any of your trivia-loving friends who are RAVING for a good challenge :)
We made PENCILS DOWN for people who love psychological horror, roguelikes, school horror, and a good challenge. We wanted Room 44 to feel different from other school horror games, whether you're trying to manage your resources, survive the exam, or getting jumpscared because the proctor caught you at the worst possible moment. Don't worry, it happens to the best of us! :)
A huge shoutout as well to everyone who's made YouTube videos about the game or played it live with their Twitch chats and communities. Creating content takes real time and effort, and we've loved seeing people experience PENCILS DOWN in their own ways.
And this next update definitely won't be the last! We've got plenty more planned based on our own ideas and, just as importantly, what we've heard from all of you. We want PENCILS DOWN to keep getting better as more people play it and tell us what they think.
We've also got some secret projects in the works after PENCILS DOWN, so stay tuned for more games from us on Steam! We're no one-hit wonder, and we're excited to see where we go from here :)
