Earlier today, mikeydsc made a discussion post just to check if we were okay because we’ve been a little quiet lately. (Can we spam the comments with “Thank you, mikeydsc”? <3)
We feel like we ended up with the best community we could have asked for. You’ve all been so kind, patient, thoughtful, and supportive. We love you all.
And yes, we’re okay(ish)! Very overwhelmed, a little confused, but still standing. Releasing Celestial Return was huge for us, and the weeks since launch have been exciting, exhausting, stressful, wonderful… just a lot of everything, really.
Please know we’re still right here, reading your messages and feedback and keeping an eye out for any problems that need our attention. We don’t have a big roadmap of new content planned right now. But we’re still around. Celestial Return is very special to us, and it always will be.
So, what else are we working on?
Before Celestial Return, we released a small cosmic-horror incremental game called Cult of the Yellow King in Early Access. Bilge and I created the art, writing, and design for it, as Metaphor Games, while working together with a developer from another indie studio to bring it to life. It’s an incremental game with a heavy focus on narrative. (Because of course it is) Our biggest inspirations were The King in Yellow by Robert W. Chambers and the show Archive 81. So, if you enjoy that kind of horror, you might enjoy our weird little cult too. We’re preparing it for its full release right now, and we’ll announce the date soon! The price is actually changing from $2.99 to $3.99 today, so if you’re interested in checking it out, right now is the best time to grab it at its original Early Access price:

We also have another tiny side project called Weirdose!
It already has a Steam page, but it’s still very early in development (most of it is still on paper) Just like our other games, Bilge and I are handling the art and design, and we've teamed up with another developer to help build it.
We’ll be sharing its first trailer and demo soon! In the meantime, giving it a wishlist and a follow on Steam would mean so much to us and helps out incredibly at this early stage:
