The VR StrideS Playtest is live

As some of you may have already noticed, I launched the VR StrideS Playtest yesterday.

I'm pretty happy with how it works now, but before the full release I need one thing I can't generate myself: real users.

I can run around with it all day, but without external testers I'll never know whether the movement actually feels right to anyone but me.

So the Playtest is open until August 30, completely free. Try it with your SteamVR games and let me know what you think about it.

If you're comfortable sharing anonymous diagnostic data, you can also enable “Send data to improve VR StrideS.” That gives me information about how VR StrideS is interpreting your movement, which is particularly useful for finding cases where its predictions don't match what you're actually doing.

That's it. Play it, go crazy, show it to your friends and tell me if it's alright.

Enjoy!
