We have released an important update regarding a save data management issue.
In previous versions, an issue occurred where save data was initialized when updating the game or when verifying the integrity of game files.
We deeply apologize for the significant inconvenience and trouble this has caused our players. We are truly sorry.
■ Patch Details
・Fix for the Save Data Deletion Issue
Fixed a bug where save data would revert to its initial state upon receiving a game update or running "Verify integrity of game files" via the Steam client.
From this update onward, your save data will no longer be deleted when updating the game, and you will be able to safely resume playing from where you left off.
■ Save Data Backup Recommendation
While you can download and apply this update normally without issues, we recommend backing up your save files beforehand just in case of any unforeseen accidents depending on your PC environment.
Target Files: ‟starry_sf.sav" and ‟starry_tyrano_data.sav" (located in the game folder)
Backup Instructions: Please copy and paste the two files mentioned above to another location, such as your Desktop. After applying the update, if you confirm that your save data remains intact, you may safely delete the backed-up files.
