This is a medium-sized gameplay update that aims to balance the difficulty of the game overall. The beginning of any level can be a little cumbersome more often than not, but these changes will help speed up gameplay progression. This update will help you get higher scores and it will make the experience consistently more fun!
If you don't already know, this game now has 25 achievements! There may be more added in the future, but for now, this is a good stopping point.
Player Changes:
- All coins give more XP.
- All Score gained by taking damage from various enemies MASSIVELY increased. No Pain, No Gain!
- Gold coins give more Score.
- Every Star pickup gives more XP and more score.
- Ally cannonball damage increased.
- Harley's Baseball damage slightly increased.
- Harley's Water Spray damage increased.
- Harley's Balloon direct hit and splash damage increased.
- Zach's Musket and Musketeer Ring damage increased.
- Colin's chickens damage increased.
- Colin's chickens no longer follow Colin after being thrown, they will sit still or get rolled around from the impact.
- Colin's chickens stay 1 second longer before despawning.
- Jules shotgun damage increased.
- Broken boxes have a slightly increased chance of dropping diamonds and/or powerup stars.
- Broken barrels now have a chance of dropping an Ally star or diamond, and can also drop silver coins.
- Health Cacti heals the player slightly faster.
Enemy Changes:
- Certain minibosses (Charlie Gang, Giant Alien Robot, Silly Sam, Giant Trolley) now have a 1/3 chance to drop 3 diamonds on destruction.
- Yellow cowboy miniboss now only drops 3 diamonds.
