Haunted dolls, chicken hunting, and selling illegal items

It’s been almost three weeks since we launched A Storied Life: Tabitha, and it’s been fascinating to see what players are packing, selling and recycling, so we thought we’d share some stats.

For those yet to check out A Storied Life: Tabitha, this narrative puzzle title from Lab42 Games is all about deciding what to keep, sell, or pass along as you empty each room of a loved one who recently passed away. As you discover possessions - and as you decide what to do with them - unique stories will be told, allowing you to complete a mysterious memoir.

Unsurprisingly, the most common ending was The Jumble, achieved by 33% of players, and the welcome mat was the most recycled item, but we were kind of surprised by some of the other stats, such as the 1% of players trying to sell the Cat Poo and urn of ashes.

Have you found all the endings yet? Stats show that only 8% of you have found the Emotionally Distant ending, and only 4% of players have achieved The Big Empty. Perhaps it's time for some of you to re-enter the house and make new decisions...

Where’s Hetty?

Talking of finding things, thank you to all of the Hetty Hunters who joined in with the hunt to find our missing chicken. Hetty was found happily perched atop a mound of shiny sweets, and for those of you wondering what the codeword was, it was NESTING. Congratulations to our winners.

Need a helping hand with the game?

For those of you struggling with anything in the game, unsure of how to trigger an achievement or achieve a certain story ending, we’ve recorded walkthroughs for each of the seven main story endings and uploaded them here:

And if you still have any questions about the game or how to uncover a certain secret, come and chat with other players in our cosy Discord space, where the community are busy solving daily puzzles together, achievement hunting and sharing photos of their pets.

We’d love to see you there. Until next time.
