Update v1.1.1 - Sep 14, 2026

- Fixed an issue causing freezes and crashes at key moments in the game (chapter transitions and final confrontation) on Steam Deck
- Fixed an issue causing a black screen on loading a save file situated in chapters 1 or 2
- Fixed an issue causing the opening cutscene to display as video test bars on *some* Steam Deck versions
- Fixed an issue preventing the completion of the achievement “Subscriber to The Inquirer & Reflection”
- Improved the text scroll speed when reading notes, and added a setting with the option to increase the scroll speed further

Thank you all for your help and patience as we tracked down these issues, the crashes and freezes were particularly gnarly. Please reach out to us in our Discord or via [email protected] if you run into any more issues!
