Hello lads, another self-explanatory post, the game's on 75% off for two weeks, so I humbly ask you spread the word however you can if you like the game. Now, onto something a bit more interesting. I'd aimed for a demo of the RPG project by year's end, but as things stand that won't be happening. I'd like to get it in a Next Fest as I did with AR, but the cutoff date for the year's final one is fast approaching and the game's not yet in a presentable condition. Partially due to being busier on the illustration side gig lately, partially due to a bout of bad illness a while ago, partially from a streak of perfectionism causing a lot of reworks to the combat over time. The good news is it's shaping up to be a banger it's got a heavier focus on the story than AR but I'm maintaining a similar philosophy of keeping the story short and sweet and having a lot of other stuff to do, so you can feel satisfied wherever you decide to put it down. As a grown man I've not had as much chance to enjoy JRPGs as in my youth by virtue of not having 90 hours to invest for every animu game. I'm essentially making a game for my boys in a similar boat, the ambition is a 10-12 hour long story with strong, to the point character and scenario writing, alongside a plethora of other modes and battles to train for. There's a strong emphasis on unique character building and creativity over pure kaizo difficulty. Even if you're not normally into RPGs, I do hope you'll give it a try when it's ready.
Current ETA for a demo is the upcoming February Next Fest, though this isn't a guarantee. Thank you all for the patience, it'll be around 3 years since AR's release by the time this is finished and I hope it's worth the wait for those who've been here since the beginning.
