We've just pushed v0.4.1, featuring market sales, tenant background checks, Steam Deck optimizations, and balancing tweaks!
New Features
- Flash Sales: Property flash sales now occur randomly, running for 1–2 days with 20%–40% discounts!
- Tenant References: You can now ask prospective tenants for their previous landlord's contact info to perform background checks on their tenancy history.
- 24h Price Trends: Map markers now display property price changes over the last 24 hours (can be toggled off under Game Settings).
Steam Deck Improvements
- The on-screen keyboard now opens automatically whenever a text input is required.
- Improved overall UI scaling tailored specifically for the Steam Deck display resolution.
Changes & Balancing
- Custom Mode: You can now customize the frequency of Flash Sales in Custom Mode.
- Reduced the required number of completed gigs for quests.
- Reduced the number of quests generated for gig progression tracks.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug that caused rent to be displayed as unpaid even after it was successfully paid.
- Fixed an incorrect tooltip display on vacant lots.
- Improved scrolling performance in messages app
