We have finally achieved something we set out to do last year: bringing DLC content to home consoles!
The game update arrives on August 31, along with the option to purchase the character pack as DLC on Xbox, PS5, and Nintendo Switch; for this reason, we have discounted Season Pass 2 here on Steam for one week.
Like any new project, Mostroscopy has brought a number of challenges and new things to learn—specifically, the task of consistently releasing new content over the years (we’re hitting our 3rd anniversary in just a couple of months!) and finding ways to monetize that content.
Now that we’ve mastered content creation across all platforms, we’re moving forward with a new Season Pass; we aim to make the releases as simultaneous as possible across all platforms.
This means Rosa will also be coming to consoles, alongside the first character from the new Season Pass :)
We can also reveal that a new guest character will be joining the game as free content—regardless of the other updates—so keep an eye out for that, too!
