Friends!
The autumn update opens a new chapter in Warface history, bringing major gameplay changes, new content, and gifts for everyone! You can claim your rewards on the Step Forward promo page, accessible via the Promo button in the in-game hub.
In this article, we'll tell you about the new simplified weapon progression system without mods and parts, the upcoming collaboration with Atomic Heart and a themed solo mission, the improved matchmaking system, the updated Overpass map, seasonal activities, new and returning weapons, and much more.
The game continues to evolve, and this is only the beginning! We have big plans ahead, and together we'll make the game even better. Now is the perfect time to prove yourself and become part of a new chapter in Warface history!
The season will run until 05:00 UTC (06:00 CET) on December 2, 2026.
Long sessions of collecting Parts, upgrading mods, and navigating complicated interface screens are a thing of the past. We've reworked the weapon progression system to make it as convenient and straightforward as possible. Forget about Parts and mod upgrades: primary weapons now have just five levels, upgrades unlock automatically as you play, and mods can be installed with a single click on one unified screen. Weapon progression is now 30% faster (and twice as fast for new players), you'll receive significantly more WF$ (+300% in Ranked Matches), and all your old progress and Parts have been fairly converted. Play and progress comfortably right now!
Quick Details:
The number of progression levels for primary weapons has been reduced.
The amount of XP required to level up weapons remains unchanged.
The amount of XP required to upgrade devices has been slightly increased. Fully upgrading a device now requires 100 more XP than in the previous version.
The amount of Weapon XP received has been increased. The base increase is around 30%.
Mods have been replaced with upgrades that unlock for WF$ or for free as part of weapon progression. Upgrades no longer require leveling.
Primary weapons: 2 upgrades for WF$, 4 free upgrades through progression.
Secondary weapons: 2 upgrades for WF$, 2 free upgrades through progression.
Devices: 1 upgrade for WF$, 2 free upgrades through progression.
Parts have been removed from the game. WF$ will now be used to upgrade weapons.
The base amount of WF$ received for various in-game activities, including the Battle Pass, events, and other sources that previously awarded Parts, has been significantly increased (up to 5 times, depending on the mode).
All Parts you had or spent on upgrading weapons have been converted at a rate of 1 Part = 60 WF$.
The weapon interface has been reworked to make it simpler and more convenient. Many actions now require just one click, while progression upgrades are automatically installed when unlocked.
For new players, starting weapons can be upgraded even faster — by Rank 30, one of the basic weapons will be fully upgraded.
Don't worry about your Parts and XP!All accumulated XP has been transferred to the new system, while all Parts have been converted into WF$ at a rate of 1 Part = 60 WF$. The compensation has been calculated so that for a fully upgraded weapon in the current system, with all mods installed and upgraded, you will receive enough WF$ to purchase and install all upgrades for that weapon in the new progression system.
The changes apply to all weapons added since September 2024, as well as several other weapons that remain popular among players according to in-game metrics.
Alongside the new progression system, we've also been working on another improvement — a matchmaking system based on skill level. We regularly saw complaints about matchmaking balance, and now it's time to address this issue. This update introduces an improved matchmaking system!
When creating a room, the system now takes a variety of factors into account: kill/death ratio, win rate, headshot percentage, the amount of restored armor and health, and much more. Based on this data, the game will adjust your internal rating and match you with players who have a similar rating. The new system should minimize situations where, for example, new players without enough experience end up on a team against experienced fighters.
At the same time, we understand the importance of balancing team matchmaking with the time players have to wait for a match to start. If finding suitable allies and opponents takes too long, the system will expand its matchmaking criteria. You may still encounter opponents whose skill level is higher than yours, but the bonus to your internal rating for winning such matches will be greater. In case of a loss, your rating will decrease by less.
Important: the changes will be introduced gradually! At the start of the autumn season, we will test the new system in events, then in Quick Play modes, and only after that will we roll it out to Ranked Matches. At each stage, we will collect your feedback and statistical data from all players and make adjustments if necessary before moving on to the next stage.
It's time to jump into a match and test your skills against truly equal opponents!

Believe us — even though this is virtual reality, its enemies are far from harmless, especially N...But you'll find that out for yourself when you complete the mission.
A familiar universe, a vibrant futuristic world, unusual enemies, and an incredible story await!
Please note: this mission is connected to the upcoming in-game event. Once per day, you will receive 230 Black Market Coins for completing it. Don't miss the opportunity to earn achievements, additional coins, and new gameplay experiences during the event!
The mission will become available in the second week of the season, alongside the autumn event.

HRAZ is always ready to come to your aid! The updated version of the famous Polymer Glove is already waiting for you in the game. Alongside it, you can get new camos for devices: the Claymore, Motion Sensor, and Molotov Cocktail, all featuring unique animations.
Players often mentioned this map in the comments, so it was next in line for an update! New textures and objects have refreshed the map's appearance. It now looks more modern and polished thanks to adjusted lighting and replacement of some objects. At the same time, we also paid attention to player visibility against the environment. You can compare the old and new versions in the screenshots below.
The map is already available in Demolition and Free-for-All. Battles on the updated Overpass promise to be intense!

SMC Charlie P320
The well-proven P320 automatic pistol fitted with a special SMC Charlie Chassis. Excellent ergonomics and relatively low weight for this type of weapon allow you to fire it akimbo. Good ammo capacity and a high rate of fire make this pistol an excellent weapon for a second chance.
The striking name of this Mexican assault rifle literally translates as "Fire Serpent". An excellent choice for a weapon renowned for its reliability and accuracy. The rifle is equipped with coupled magazines, which significantly speeds up reloading during a firefight, giving you a better chance of leaving the battlefield victorious. However, don't forget that installing a new set of coupled magazines takes longer. Choose the right moment for a full reload wisely!
Mauser Kar98k and PP-19-01 Vityaz are back in action! These legendary weapons have received stat improvements to bring them up to the level of current weapons in the meta. Time to dust them off, check that all upgrades are installed, and put them to the test in battle!
In intelligence files, he is referred to by various names: "Agent 0", "John Smith". But most often — "John 47". His origins are unknown. The list of eliminated targets is constantly being edited: cases are added and removed with the note "deemed an accident".
One of the most mysterious and effective agents in history. His record includes numerous successful operations involving well-known targets (and at least as many unknown ones).
This is the agent you will meet in the new Proton solo mission.
The agent will appear in the game during September. Stay tuned for the news!

We have been continuously working on improving the game's interface for several seasons, and the autumn season is no exception. This time, we've worked on the Ranked Matches leaderboard. Many competitive players wanted to get more information about the top players, as well as their own position on the leaderboard. Now this is possible!
Instead of one general leaderboard, you'll be able to view rankings exactly the way you want: compare yourself with friends, evaluate the performance of players in your class, explore the leaders of different leagues, and more.
The leaderboard will also feature much more useful statistics. Wins, efficiency, favorite weapon, number of MVPs, and other metrics will help you better evaluate both your own progress and the achievements of other players.
Our goal is to turn the leaderboard from a tool intended only for top players into a feature that will be interesting and useful for every Ranked Matches participant.
Another change that allows other players to recognize your skill. MVPs you earn will now be additionally highlighted in the match. You can choose an element that suits your style in the character personalization settings, in the same place where patches, badges, and tokens are located.
This element will only be displayed when you receive MVP status. You can be proud of your achievements!
