Thanks to the incredible efforts of our entire development team, we've significantly improved the game's audiovisual quality. Unless you have a specific need for native 4K assets, the separate 4K DLC is no longer necessary to enjoy the best experience.
Although the game is primarily presented in a cinematic style, we've combined first-person and objective camera perspectives throughout the story to create a more immersive experience.

Don't expect exaggerated action heroes or invincible supermen. This is the story of an ordinary man who was drawn into extraordinary circumstances.
Our game offers one of the highest levels of freedom among interactive movie games, but that also means the narrative can become quite complex. For your first playthrough, we recommend simply following your own instincts and making the choices you truly want. After reaching any ending in Chapter 6, an in-game guide system will be unlocked to help you explore other routes.
If you encounter moments that seem confusing or unexplained, don't worry—many answers can only be found by experiencing different storylines. Some mysteries are also meant to be pieced together through careful observation and reflection.
When Zhu Shiming first infiltrates the Japanese puppet authorities, he doesn't understand Japanese. For that reason, the Japanese dialogue in the first two chapters intentionally has no subtitles. This is by design and is explained within the game—it is not a bug.
Zhu Shiming isn't forced to make life-or-death decisions every single day. You are free to spend time at the casino or the Paramount Ballroom instead. Even choices that appear to be part of everyday life may have unexpected consequences.
Anyone can grow into a hero. But sometimes, it is the seemingly ordinary people who show the heroes which path to take.
