I acknowledge I made a mistake by releasing the first version without any tutorial. This, unfortunately, resulted in frustrating experience for many players who tried the first version, and felt confused and thought the game lacks content, because they didn't know where to look for it. I hope that everyone can give the game another chance.
New tutorial with 25 tasks now introduces main game mechanics and gameplay concepts. Tutorial is enabled by default, and can be disabled in settings > system.
In addition to tutorial, "info" window in the main menu (settings > info) now lists ideas for some of possible goals to achieve in the game.
New craftable items: paper snowflake (x1 paper), Christmas wreath (x3 pine twigs, x3 pine cones, x3 paper snowflakes), Christmas tree (x10 pine twigs, x2 wooden planks).
Pine twigs and cones can be harvested from pines. Wooden planks can be obtained from school storage. Paper can be obtained from any table with documents in school corridors.
Improvements:
- added an option to invert mouse input (settings > controls).
- using an empty mug/cup from item 3D view menu now automatically places it in hand.
- when starting a new game, now there will be an empty mug added to inventory.
- current day of week and time are now shown in the status menu (instead of character's name).
Bug fixes:
- in default mouse control mode, cursor is now locked in the center of the screen (fixes issues with multi-monitor setup).
- fixed an issue where pressing "action" button/key while being in menu and standing in front of active action trigger resulted in various bugs.
- added missing icons for PE shorts.
