Hello Adventurers! In this update I experimented with a more hands-off approach to controlling your hero. I've internally called them "super tasks" as they were designed to replace the "repeating" tasks. When giving your hero a super task (represented by a green outline) your hero will attempted to continue doing that task even once their bag is full. The hero will automatically empty their bag in the bank or withdraw needed items. Hopefully this makes the game a little less demanding and more automated.
Changes:
Hero will no longer attempt to skin an animal if there is no bag space to fit the hide.
Now when ending conversations with NPCs, all buttons in the dialogue book are removed.
Removed "Locked" quests from quest book for simplicity.
Hero will now withdraw and deposit items on their own from/to the bank when doing 'super tasks'.
You can now give your hero commands from the 'Skills' book, which enables repeating tasks (if possible).
The 'Map' book commands have been simplified to a single instance. For example, chop one tree.
Selecting 'chopping' from the 'skills' book now shows you all available trees and their locations.
Selecting 'skinning' from the 'skills' book now shows you all huntable creatures that can be skinned.
Selecting 'cooking' from the 'skills' book now shows you all cookable foods you have in both your bank and bag.
Selecting 'firemaking' from the 'skills' book now shows you all available logs you have in both your bank and bag.
Selecting 'hunting' from the 'skills' book now shows you all huntable creatures in your region.
Selecting 'leather' from the 'skills' book now shows you two options; Craft, which lists all leathers then all craftable items, and 'Tan hide' which shows you all tanable hides in your bank and bag.
Removed option from tasks bubble to set to repeat now that super tasks have replaced them.
Clicking task bubble now cancels a task instantly (if possible).
Clicking items in both your bank and bag will display actionable tasks such as cooking food or burning logs.
Empty toolbelt slots have been dimmed to make it easier to see that you have no item in that slot.
Toolbelt items can now but clicked to start super tasks.
Fixes:
Fixed an issue where game would initially load in the middle of the screen and become stuck.
Fixed an issue where bank transfers could get stuck in a loop.
Fixed a bug where bank exchanges would end after only one transfer.
Fixed a bug where fires were allowed to be made on top of trees. This shouldn't happen.
Improved the ability for hero to find bank on their own without getting stuck on the beach.
